British Spy Agency MI6 Hacks Al Qaeda Site Switching Bomb Making Info For Cake Recipes

The British spy agency, MI6, pawned Al Qaeda this week, by hacking a nefarious bomb making website belonging to the terrorist group, deleting its dangerous instructional manuals and replacing them with cake recipes. Pure comedy! It's good to see the agency has retained its sense of humor. At the end of the day, no one should be disseminating bomb making instructions to the public. No good can come of that.

MI6 hacks Qaida site, swaps bomb info with cake recipes

PTI | Jun 4, 2011, 12.40am IST - As part of its cyber-warfare operations, British spy agency MI6 has hacked into an al-Qaida online magazine and replaced "bomb-making" instructions with a recipe for cupcakes, a media report said. The operation was launched by MI6 in an attempt to disrupt efforts by al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsular to recruit "lone-wolf" terrorists with a new English-language magazine, 'The Daily Telegraph' reported.
