This article is a follow up to the September 2, 2010 "Lebron James Not A Hurricanes Fan Yet". FSU college football team played rival UM today, at the latter's home in Miami and the former triumphed. Both teams put in a great effort and based on feedback, audiences enjoyed in thoroughly. It was a good game and a sell out crowd.
We watched the game at our home in Miami. My mother was talking smack about us supporting FSU now, due to my god-brother playing for the team. She started off cocky about wearing one of her many FSU shirts in Miami, then went completely punk at the end of the sentence. She said prior to the game, "I’m gonna wear the shirt (FSU)…inside the house."
My god-brother’s mother, who lives further north, drove down to Miami earlier in the day, to collect her sister at the airport. Girlfriend had on an FSU shirt...and had the team’s flag attached to her SUV.
Some Hurricanes fans saw her at a stop light and nearly lost their minds (LOL). They started holding up "U" signs with their fingers, representing UM. Being the goofball she is, she started laughing at them and proceeded to do the Seminoles Tomahawk chop hand gesture. Can you imagine a hearing impaired driver seeing that exchange at a stop light and wondering what they were doing, because that certainly was not sign language. But it's all in good fun.
