7-Year-Old Brit Raised $195,000 For Haiti


An extraordinary 7-year-old British boy, Charlie Simpson, raised $195,000 for earthquake victims in Haiti, via gaining sponsorship for riding his bicycle in favor of donations for each mile covered.

The money Simpson has raised through his efforts, goes to UNICEF's Haiti charity for kids. He stated, "My name is Charlie Simpson. I want to do a sponsored bike ride for Haiti because there was a big earthquake and loads of people have lost their lives. I want to make some money to buy food, water and tents for everyone in Haiti."

That is so sweet. I think I'm gonna cry. To date, Britain has raised roughly $100 million dollars for Haiti.
