Karrueche Tran States Breaking Up With Chris Brown Is Costing Her Modeling Jobs

Karrueche Tran, the ex-girlfriend of singer Chris Brown, has revealed breaking up with the star for cheating on her and fathering a baby with another woman during their relationship, has cost her modeling jobs. Tran is not getting the amount of modeling jobs she used to and film offers are fewer as well.

Many have based her popularity on Brown having made her famous as his girlfriend, which led to Tran amassing a large social networking following. Now that they have broken up, some industry professionals are of the view it has affected her popularity with the public and the job offers are drying up.

Tran stated to Newsbeat in London, "A lot of people think I am a weak individual because of past situations and when it comes to business sometimes people don't want to be involved with somebody like that. Which is understandable, but it sucks, because I'm not a weak person. It's these people who sit behind their phones and just say mean things, just because."

Jeremy Meeks, the blue-eyed black inmate, who took social networking by storm this month when his mug shot went viral, retained the services of an entertainment manager with the hope of capitalizing on his new found online fame. It was thought he could make money with the assistance of a manager, via tell all stories, interviews and licensing deals from jail.

However, their plan has already encountered trouble, due to his gang ties. Meeks says he was a member of the Northside Crips in California and has left the illegal group, even though said allegiances are usually for life. According to TMZ, Meeks' new manager has been receiving death threats via harassing telephone calls regarding her representation of the pretty boy.

If only Meeks had applied himself when he was a free man, he could have become a model making tens of thousands of dollars per month and pursued other opportunities as well. When he gets out of jail, here's hoping he gets on the right path and stays out of trouble. To all who are thinking about pursuing a life of crime, I implore you not to do so. It's a fast life that leads to trouble. Stay on the straight and narrow. Look for lawful, gainful employment and keep trying to become a legitimate success the right way.

With news that the May 2014 release date for one of Chris Brown’s forthcoming CDs has been scrapped, it was announced that the singer has started a modeling agency named Legendary Faces. Brown has dated aspiring model Karrueche Tran for the past few years, who may become involved with the venture, having completed over a dozen modeling assignments in the past year. She is also involved with his fashion lines.

Brown’s mother, Joyce Hawkins, has announced the launch of her new company Joyce Hawkins Productions, which will specialize in a variety of events. The company’s first event is a charity auction scheduled to take place shortly. She has been active in her son's career and seeks to use what she has learned about the entertainment industry in a production capacity.

Brown’s career has been sidetracked by legal cases. He is currently in rehab, for a stay that is scheduled to last 5 months. Brown waits to find out if his probation revocation will lead to jail time. His CD release dates have been scrapped several times as a result of the aforementioned legal cases. The modeling agency and production company are potential ways to earn revenue, while Brown’s music career is sidelined.

The image conscious brand Chanel rushed to Vogue magazine to distance themselves from her stating she is not the new face of their brand. 15 April 2013 - RIHANNA is not the new face of Chanel, we can confirm. A spokesperson from the fashion house told us that the Vogue cover girl has not been photographed for one of its campaigns - despite a succession of reports to the contrary.

Online speculation first emerged back in January, when the singer shared a picture on her Instagram account - in which she appeared to be wearing Chanel jewellery - alongside the comment: "And that's a #wrap on my shoot for my new #topsecret ad campaign!!! #2013".
