U.S. President Barack Obama's State of The Union address last night contained many claims and promises, but will he be able to make good on them in the current financial climate gripping America. Obama offered examples of what he deems his successes with the U.S. economy.

However, one cannot deny the fact, the financial climate in America is still very bad, as cost of living continues to surge and income and job availability decreases. This is a dangerous combo. At the heart of the matter is a badly damaged economy that spans two presidents. Both went about correcting the damage in different ways, but neither has solved the problem, leaving America in a quagmire.

President Barack Obama’s state of the union speech last night was sadly more of the same unfulfilled promises, rehashed in a live format. This is a make or break year for President Obama and he is promising the nation the world, but has not delivered for the past 3-years. The economy is in a bad way and Obama has shot down many projects that would create jobs and revenue.

Report: Obama's State Of The Union Speech Riddled With Plagiarism

U.S. President Barack Obama gave his State of the Union speech yesterday, to much criticism. Many provided fact checking features on their websites, which outed the President in untruths and broken promises.

However, his speech, which centered on American innovation, is being slammed as riddled with plagiarism. It is being said Obama stole chunks of preexisting speeches and letters by other politicians, such as Franklin Roosevelt, Robert Kennedy, Woodrow Wilson, Margaret Thatcher and Mario Cuomo.

Posted: January 26, 2011 - If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, what can be said of plagiarism? President Obama’s second State of the Union address contained enough recycled ideas and lines lifted from speeches of others to make historians wince. I suppose this is what one does when one not only has nothing new to say, but is required by custom and Constitution to come forth with a report of some kind by a certain time and day.

Had Obama or his writers been considerate enough to have informed listeners of where some of the president’s best lines and offered-up ideas originated, the speech might be remembered for its cutting and pasting of great and not-so-great moments of the past performance of others. After quoting Robert Kennedy early on, Obama tried to have his listeners believe that everything else he said that we might remember were his or his writers’ creations...

Two months ago, prior to U.S. President Barack Obama's first State of the Union address, I referred to it as a national pep talk. Head of the Supreme Court, Justice Roberts, stated this week he is troubled that the State of the Union address has become a "pep rally." However, that's what it's always been - an address to encourage and energize the nation.

Roberts took exception to it this time, as Obama was the first President to scold and chide them to their faces, during the widely viewed telecast, due to a recent Supreme Court decision, in essence, embarrassing them to the nation and watching world. They didn't appreciate the dress-down, as they were clowned on national TV.

I must admit, I'm not that encouraged about the Supreme Court's decision regarding campaign finance, greatly opening it up to domestic and foreign corporations. It does not properly fall under the category "free speech" as the Court labeled the contents of their argument and it opens U.S. elections up to foreign powers, which was very unwise.

The Judiciary Report is a firm believer that nations should not interfere in other nations' internal affairs, especially in the form of elections. There are so many multi-billion dollar corporations in the world that could bankroll a U.S. election. What if a foreign power working through one of them, decides to financially install their own U.S. President. Then what? Where will that leave America?

Just over 48 million Americans tuned in to the telecast of his State of the Union speech on Wednesday, about 4 million fewer than watched his first address to Congress a month after taking office last year, Nielsen figures showed on Thursday.

Obama's State Of The Union Address

U.S. President Barack Obama delivered his first State of the Union address to the American people tonight, promising a laundry list of items he has pegged, as important changes the nation needs. He has pledge more job creation, but stated he requires $30 billion dollars more in taxpayer money to accomplish this goal.

In light of the fact the government lost billions in squandered funds during the first job creation effort, there needs to be stronger government guidelines in the dissemination of the next round of funds, in the event the bill is passed by Congress.

President Obama also spoke of the new Civil Rights Division he established last year at his Department of Justice. Sorry, but I'm not impressed with the Justice Department's Civil Rights division.

Excluding Lobbyists From Administration:

"That's why -- for the first time in history -- my administration posts our White House visitors online. And that's why we've excluded lobbyists from policy-making jobs or seats on federal boards and commissions," the president said tonight.

It is true that the Obama administration became the first to implement a policy disclosing visitors to the White House, but the claim on lobbyists isn't quite right...

But the president waived the rule for Deputy Defense Secretary William Lynn, who was a registered lobbyist for the defense contractor Raytheon before being appointed in January...

The Obama administration has granted waivers for additional officials who had previously worked as lobbyists. In February, the administration signed waivers for Jocelyn Frye, former general counsel at the National Partnership for Women & Families, and Cecilia Muñoz, the former senior vice president for the National Council of La Raza, allowing them to work on issues for which they lobbied...

Obama Prepping For State Of The Union Address

U.S. President Barack Obama is prepping for his State of the Union address, scheduled for tomorrow. The State of the Union address, is typically a type of national pep talk regarding America. Presidents highlight the strong points of the nation and their hopes for improvement and prosperity.

Between the damage former President George W. Bush wrought, to President Obama's current predicament, which has seen him spend more than any other President in U.S. history, in attempting to clean up his predecessor's mammoth mess, but making a bigger one in the process, the general tone in America is one of exasperation that Washington has not been able to deliver stability and prosperity.

This occurred due to a series of poor choices made over the last several years that hurt the masses. Either way, the American people are tired of it all and want positive change to improve life in the nation.

This site has repeatedly offered sound, tried and true advice, on how to get out of the current national rut created by the greed of Vice President Dick Cheney (the mastermind behind it) and former President George W. Bush (the puppet that went along with it) and Wall Street.

The Judiciary Report has suggested the following items in past articles:

A small 5% tax increase on America's wealthiest citizens. This would create billions in income for the nation.

Be prudent and savvy when going about job creation, to get more bang for the national buck.

Remove troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. It will save lives - both civilian and soldier, bring troops home and add to the work force in America when they return. This equals more people working and paying taxes, helping to rebuild the economy.

Cut wasteful government spending, as some explorative programs, such as studying bears, are frivolous and expensive.

Reducing discretionary spending accounts of government employees. Some government employees' expense accounts are exorbitant and in many cases unnecessary. Learn to conference through secure technology links.

Target medical imaging companies to reduce the cost of their products, such as MRIs, MRAs, CT scans, Doppler, EKG, EEG ect..., in the manner other technology sectors have done in dropping the price of items such as DVD players and CD players that used to cost hundreds, but now can be purchased for 1/10 of their former price.

Focus on reducing the price of pharmaceutical drugs, as some only cost $1.00 per unit to manufacture, yet are being sold for $50.00 to $100 a bottle. That's just plain greed.

It's not that difficult. Lobbyists, corporate entities and corrupt government officials spewing bad rhetoric make it difficult. All it needs is someone willing to do the right thing.

Having stated that, at the end of the day, it is Obama's Presidency and he will do as he pleases...even if it unintentionally sinks the ship, rather than filling in the holes on the proverbial vessel, changing direction and setting sail on a new course of resurgence.

If you fail to do what is right it will come back to haunt you. Don't end up like Bush, ruing the day you ever made the majority of the decisions you did that history records poorly as your legacy, when it is too late to correct them, as you are out of office.

If you fail to act with integrity and character today, history will denigrate your presidency tomorrow. The world is changing. Either you will stay ahead of the curve or get left behind.
