18-Year-Old African-American Girl Becomes The Youngest Person To Pass The Bar Exam In Britain

A super intelligent 18-year-old from Windemere, Florida, Gabrielle Turnquest, who is of Bahamian descent, has become the youngest person to pass the bar exam in Britain. That is amazing. What an extraordinary young woman. The Judiciary Report takes its hat off to you. Well done. The White House should give her an award for this wonderful feat.

People online sometimes refer to females who act out and show out, as a "bad b****" calling it a compliment. Well, this young lady, Gabrielle, isn't a "bad b****" - she's a brilliant young woman, who is the real deal. She is a young woman that used her mind and not her behind and has achieved something great.

Teens today should aspire to such greatness, not getting their boobs and butts out online, mimicking debauched reality stars and untalented singers for attention from thirsty males objectifying them, then tossing them aside for the next new famous bimbo.

Gold Medalist Michael Johnson Says Blacks Are Better Athletes Due To Slavery

 African-American Olympic gold medalist Michael Johnson, who set world records in track and field, stated blacks are better athletes due to slavery. Johnson stated during an interview in Britain, "All my life ... I believed I became an athlete through my own effort and determination, but it's impossible to think that being descended from slaves hasn't left an imprint through the generations. Difficult as it was to hear, slavery has benefited descendants like me ... I believe there is a superior athletic gene in us. Over the last few years, athletes of Afro-Caribbean and Afro-American descent have dominated athletics finals. It's a fact that hasn't been discussed openly before. It's a taboo subject in the States but it is what it is. Why shouldn't we discuss it?"

I've wondered about that myself. Many black-Americans and Afro-Caribbeans have excelled at athletics. One blog challenged Johnson's point by citing white American gold medalist swimmer, Michael Phelps, who dominated during the 2008 Olympics. I beg to differ. May I point to the evidence. Michael Phelps was caught smoking weed. So technically, that makes him a black man (LOL just teasing). That's right. We're claiming Phelps. He was hitting the weed like a rasta. You're Team Black now Phelps (wink).

One thing I know, regardless of what country you come from, if you see an African register for the long distance marathons, may as well withdraw (LOL). Africans dominate in this field, much like white people shut things down in gymnastics. So, who's to say who is best. One thing we all can agree on, the Olympics are a great time to come together as a world and put our differences aside.

This week it has been announced, the shrewd, but cruel, CIA is set to unveil its own Weapons Of Mass Destruction unit, in an effort to combat potential nuclear and bio-terror attacks against America. Clearly, the CIA doesn't trust its idiot cousin, the FBI.

FBI Puzzled At Black Men Joining Islam

According to published reports, the FBI and U.S. government as a whole, are puzzled by the slight upswing in black-American men joining Islam, in spite of numerous terrorism raids.

Some black-American males are bitter regarding the racism and repression in the nation and Islam’s sell for said demographic is defeating "the white man."

However, this has taken many into dangerous territory that turned into crime. Not every white man is a racist and one does not overcome prejudice with prejudice (reverse racism).

Side Bar: if the FBI weren’t so racist, the situation wouldn’t have reached such incendiary levels.

Side Bar 2: And don’t say the agency does not have a problem with racism, as there are numerous lawsuits against the FBI, testifying to the internal and external racism problems.

Blacks still drawn to Islam despite FBI raids

By now, Sekou Jackson is used to the questions: Why does he need to leave a work meeting to pray? Don't black Muslims convert to Islam in jail? Why would you even want to be Muslim?

Effectiveness Of Stimulus Questioned

The effectiveness of the stimulus bills by former President George W. Bush and White House incumbent, Barack Obama, is being questioned, as the numbers are not adding up and equaling growth.

Certain companies such as AIG and a few automakers needed the assistance, to save a multitude of jobs, but the government lost its way in throwing billions at banks and numerous other financial entities and business enterprises, some of which have misused the funds, not producing anything of value for the American people. Some banks, such as Northern Trust, received massive sums of money they didn't even need.

I question the logic of having done this, rather than focusing on a few U.S. corporations that anchor the American economy.

Additionally, bailout money, by law, should have been stipulated as funds that must be repaid, as corporations improved their financial outlook.

As it stands, many business recipients have no intention of repaying a dime, as they are not legally compelled to do so. Christmas came early for the corporate sector courtesy of the American taxpayer.

Americans Not Paying Mortgage Due To Devaluation

Some Americans have stopped paying their mortgages, because they can't afford to anymore, while others, disheartened at owning a home, whose mortgage is two times the property's value, have been withholding payments out of disgust. It is a very tough predicament many face.

U.S. consumers fall behind on loans at record pace

Tue Jul 7, 2009 1:11pm EDT - NEW YORK (Reuters) - Soaring U.S. unemployment and a shrinking economy drove delinquencies on credit card debt and home equity loans to all-time highs in the first quarter as a record number of cash-strapped consumers fell behind on their bills.

Delinquencies on the value of all card debt soared to a record 6.60 percent from 5.52 percent in the fourth quarter as more cardholders relied on plastic to meet day-to-day expenses, the American Bankers Association said.

Late payments on home equity loans rose to 3.52 percent from 3.03 percent, and on home equity lines of credit climbed to 1.89 percent from 1.46 percent.

A broader gauge showing late payments on eight categories of loans rose for a fourth straight quarter to a new record, edging up to 3.23 percent from 3.22 percent. That rate actually understates consumer pain because it excludes credit cards. The ABA tracks loan payments that are at least 30 days late...

U.S. Senate Apologizes For Slavery

...With A Disclaimer Causing Controversy

Following in the lead of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Senate apologized for Slavery yesterday. They did so with a disclaimer that created controversy.

The Senate apologized for, "The fundamental injustice, brutality, and inhumanity of slavery and Jim Crow laws." However, added, "Nothing in this resolution authorizes or supports any claim against the United States; or serves as a settlement of any claim against the United States."

It was basically a legal disclaimer issued in an effort to impede any possible lawsuit or financial settlement for reparations that could be brought against the United States government.

It's amazing and pretty disgusting that some people are still practicing slavery in modern times.

Senate apologizes for slavery, but disclaimer draws criticism

WASHINGTON -- The Senate passed a resolution Thursday calling on the U.S. to apologize officially for the enslavement and segregation of millions of African-Americans and to acknowledge "the fundamental injustice, brutality, and inhumanity of slavery and Jim Crow laws."

The resolution, sponsored with little fanfare by Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, passed on a voice vote. It now moves to the House of Representatives, where it may meet an unlikely foe: members of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Several CBC members expressed concerns Thursday about a disclaimer that states that "nothing in this resolution authorizes or supports any claim against the United States; or serves as a settlement of any claim against the United States."

The CBC members think that the disclaimer is an attempt to stave off reparations claims from the descendants of slaves. Congressional Black Caucus Chair Barbara Lee, D-Calif., said her organization is studying the language of Harkin's resolution.

Other CBC members said they've read it and don't like it.

"Putting in a disclaimer takes away from the meaning of an apology," said Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss. "A number of us are prepared to vote against it in its present form. There are several members of the Progressive Caucus who feel the same way."

Thompson and other Black Caucus members noted that a 1988 apology that the government issued to the Japanese-Americans held in U.S. camps during World War II had no disclaimer and didn't prevent them from receiving compensation.

"The language is unacceptable," said Rep. William Lacy Clay, D-Mo., "I'm a reparations man - how else do you repair the damage?"
