Yesterday, I finally saw a few episodes of the reality show "Houstons: On Our Own" after viewing the premiere episode online weeks ago. The show centers the lives of family members of the late singer Whitney Houston, since the time of her tragic passing. 

The ratings, which have been just over a million viewers per episode, have been decent for reality TV in America (currently Duck Dynasty is the top rated reality show in America and with good reason, coming in at 4,900,000). On a spiritual and career note, a few items stood out in "On Our Own" signaling red flags . Being the straight forward website this is, I am not going to hold back.

Pat Houston, sister-in-law of Whitney Houston, has decided on leaving her 15-year-old daughter and husband, Gary Houston, in Atlanta, Georgia, while she takes the singer's only child, Bobbi Kristina Brown, across the country, out to Hollywood, in search of a career as a singer and actress. 

Too many expectations have been placed on Brown to look and sound like her mother, when she takes after her dad, Bobby Brown, in that respect. Brown's career has been struggling and in all kindness, the Judiciary Report offers this advice.

Brown should not let anyone try to make her over into her mother. Her career occurred at a time in music history when things were different. There's not going to be another Whitney, so the people around Bobbi Kristina need to stop trying to create that scenario. Just like Bobbi, Whitney was unique. So be yourself. Try to be the best you can be.

In the show, Bobbi Kristina complained of not feeling beautiful. Others have undergone plastic surgery and received good results. It did wonders for Megan Fox's career (nose job, dental work, among other things). A subtle nose job and teeth capping or Invisalign would enhance Bobbi Kristina's look in a really nice way. 

A few years ago I stated, Whitney Houston was better off in Atlanta, as the drug and alcohol vices of Hollywood (the industry, not the city) was simply too much and would hamper her. A year and a half before Houston's passing, I also predicted her death (Whitney Houston On The Brink). 

I'm sorry she died, but the human body can only take so much drug and alcohol abuse, as it wasn't meant for that. I'm saddened that her daughter, who has all the same drug and alcohol problems her mother did, is in Hollywood. That's like sending her into the belly of the beast.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late singer, Whitney Houston, is giving Lindsay Lohan a run for her money in the car crash stakes. Brown has met in her third car accident in the past few months, totaling her vehicle. This is the second vehicle she owns and was an occupant of that has been totaled. It's like she has a death wish.

People are reporting Brown broke up with the man that was raised as her brother, Nick Gordon. To a young woman with substance abuse issues, that was probably another blow she didn't need. Sweetie, you can find another man. It's not the end of the world.

The Judiciary Report has repeatedly reiterated its concern Brown is going to die young due to decisions she is making. If she does get clean and sober via rehab, she is moving closer to a sad and early end that her mom would not want for her.

It recently emerged legendary Gospel singer, Cissy Houston, filed legal documents challenging the will of her late daughter, songstress, Whitney Houston, regarding her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown and her inheritance. Cissy Houston was concerned that if Brown received all $20,000,000 of her inheritance at once, she may end up blowing it (considering she has a serious drug and alcohol problem, this could very well happen in more ways than one). 

It is believed Houston wanted the inheritance money given to Brown over the course of ten years in increasing installments. This was a good idea. However, a settlement has been reached this month, with some of the details kept under wraps, so the installment plan may be gone or altered in an unproductive way.
Brown should not get all the money at once. She is 19-years-old, has raging substance abuse issues and let's face it, the girl is surrounded by sharks in her personal life and Hollywood, who are going to rip her off. 

Brown is also in love with a money hungry, fame seeking man, Nick Gordon, who she is supporting at this time with her inheritance money, as he was informally raised as her brother and is now her lover. One minute they are engaged, the next they are not, the next they are getting married again. Brown needs a prenuptial agreement.

When Whitney Houston was getting high with big spender ex-husband Bobby Brown, their money was disappearing fast. First his $20,000,000 fortune went, then much of Houston's $250,000,000 vanished as well, in 15-years of riotous, hedonistic living that killed her via an overdose and has brought him to the brink, with drug and alcohol problems. Brown's latest arrest, his third for DUI, occurred this month. He is considering rehab, which should be a foregone conclusion at this point. This family is dying off right before our eyes. 

With all his other legal issues, Brown has spent more time in jail than on stage, which is sad. Drugs really are horrible. Houston almost ended up in jail as well, when she was caught with marijuana at an airport, but fled, leaving the bag behind. 

If Bobbi Kristina is not careful, is is going to end up passing early as well, replete with stints in the legal system. None of us in this world are invincible. Drugs and alcohol kill. I've stated it before and I shall state it again - get new friends and get into rehab.

Two days ago, the Judiciary Report wrote of Bobbi Kristina Brown's engagement to adopted brother Nick Gordon, due to reports in the press and what was aired on a clip of the family's forthcoming reality show "The Houstons: On Our Own." Today, a representative for Brown is stating she is not engaged to Gordon. However, reports indicate she was at some point, but the engagement has been called off.

First posted: Friday, October 12, 2012 11:38 AM EDT - A new trailer for Bobbi Kristina's upcoming reality TV show, The Houstons: On Our Own, was released this week and it appeared to confirm Gordon had proposed, with the pair nervously telling family members, "We're engaged."

However, a spokesperson for the teen has now spoken out to CNN.com, explaining the young lovers are not presently engaged - although at one time they might have been, since the series was taped weeks ago.

Bobbi Kristina Brown Is Making The Same Mistake Her Mother Whitney Houston Did

The reality show "The Houstons: On Our Own" is already showing signs the family of the late singer, Whitney Houston, is in trouble and it hasn't even fully aired yet. Houston's daughter, Bobby Kristina Brown, fathered by the late singer's ex-husband, Bobbi Brown, is engaged to a man, Nick Gordon, who was raised as her adopted brother. Bobbi Kristina is set to marry a badboy just like her daddy. 

Gordon is shown on the reality show flirting with a woman in store and asking for her number (red flag). He posted a picture of himself online speeding and brandishing a gun (another red flag). Bobbi Kristina is paying all the bills via her inheritance (an additional red flag). No one deserves that kind of treatment. Once she marries Gordon things will get worse, as he is going to cut loose and show his true colors.

Bobby Brown's sexual promiscuity was notorious in Georgia before, during and after his marriage to Whitney Houston. It got worse when Houston married him. I remember in the 1980s and 1990s, two of my older friends spoke about friends of theirs that were Brown's jumpoffs in Miami and Atlanta. He was shameless with it. Looking at the trailer for "The Houstons: On Our Own" coupled with what I have seen regarding Gordon and it's like Bobby Brown all over again. History is repeating itself. 

If Bobbi Kristina knows what's good for her she'll make a run for it. At age 19, Gordon is already making her cry and killing her self-confidence. That's not a good sign. You are paying all the bills, he's living with you (which he shouldn't be, as you are not married), yet YOU are the one wondering why you haven't made him happy enough and what else you can do. Sweetie, it should be the other way around. What is he bringing to the relationship other than his gun and wandering eye. You don't have to put up with that. I don't believe your mother would approve of you being treated like this at all...

The family of the late singer, Whitney Houston, ex-wife of crooner, Bobby Brown, has unveiled a clip for their new reality show. How ironic they would name it "On Our Own" which is the title of a Bobby Brown hit song from the 1980s, yet he is featured nowhere in the promo pics for the reality show.  

The show features Houston's mother, legendary Gospel singer, Cissy Houston, her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown and the singer's adopted son, Nick. Ironically, Nick is dating Bobbi Kristina and the two have gotten into trouble. It's like a repeat of her parents, but she doesn't grasp what it means or how badly it could end. Dysfunction is not cool. You have to get that sorted.
