Oscar Pistorius
Olympic and Paralympic sprinter, Oscar Pistorius was
sentenced to 5-years in jail in the killing of his girlfriend, model
Reeva Steenkamp. Reports indicate Pistorius will likely serve
10-months in jail in South Africa and the remainder of his sentence on house arrest.

This news has created outrage on the internet, as
many are stating on social networking the sentence is too light for
the crime. Pistorius maintains it was an accident and he thought
Steenkamp was an intruder. However, many discrepancies surfaced in
the case causing people to doubt his claims. Steenkamp's family
stated they are satisfied with the verdict.
