Obama Rushes To Slam Scathing Statements In Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates' New Book

Explosive excerpts from the forthcoming January 14th, 2014 book by former Defense Secretary, Robert Gates, entitled "Duty: Memories Of A Secretary At War" contains scathing comments about U.S. President Barack Obama and his stance on national security.

Gates states of Obama regarding the war in Afghanistan, "The president doesn't believe in his own strategy and doesn't consider the war to be his. For him it's all about getting out." Gates further states in the tome, "As I sat there, I thought, the president doesn't trust his commander, can’t stand Karzai, doesn’t believe in his own strategy and doesn’t consider the war to be his. For him it’s all about getting out." Gates also characterizes Biden in a negative manner stating "He has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades."

President Obama's National Security Staff spokeswoman, Caitlin Hayden, responded on the head of state's behalf, "The president disagrees with Secretary Gates’ assessment — from his leadership on the Balkans in the Senate, to his efforts to end the war in Iraq, Joe Biden has been one of the leading statesmen of his time, and has helped advance America’s leadership in the world. President Obama relies on his good counsel every day."

Gates is about to mysteriously get audited by the IRS (LOL...oh, let me shut up, it's tax season and I don't want them on my butt again). In all seriousness, the government needs to get out of Afghanistan. It's a fruitless war costing many precious American and Afghanistani lives and racking up unnecessary debt the nation does not need.
