Chris Brown's Dad Doesn't Want Him With Rihanna But His Mom Is Okay With It

Chris Brown

Chris Brown's dad has voiced his displeasure at his son reuniting with troubled singer, Rihanna. Clinton Brown told the press, "I personally really didn’t want him and Rihanna back together. You have to have a balance in a relationship. You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical."

He is correct, as the relationship is going to end badly, especially with a woman who is extremely jealous, suicidal and taking hard drugs. Brown's dad would have rather he date singer Jordan Sparks, who he says is a nice, wholesome girl (codeword: Rihanna's been around the block too many times).

At the end of the day, based on what's written online and what has happened, men will mess around with, how do I put it delicately, ho*s, then take the virtuous women home and marry them. Sorry, but if I had a son and he brought home a chick like Rihanna I would literally cry, then bust up the relationship and tell my boy, "I will not have a ho* in my family line or grandbabies with foreheads like E.T. This stops now!" Oh, I'm gonna make a great mom one day, but I digress...

Brown's dad and most people in the industry also prefer his on and off girlfriend Karrueche Tran, as she is nice. Brown's father said she is sweet and has manners. However, Rihanna has a reputation for being rude, arrogant and evil to people, without provocation. She believes her hype. Many fans view Rihanna as Brown's downfall, stating he'd never had a domestic violence issue prior to her, but she had fist fights and bottle fights with her siblings.

However, Brown's mom Joyce Hawkins is okay with the relationship. But that's the problem. Whatever Brown wants to do, she is in agreement with it. Sorry, but she needs to be firmer regarding her son and Rihanna, as they have serious issues that are building up to something worse. The relationship is the definition of dysfunctional. They need therapy.

As stated previously in the column, the Judiciary Report is of the belief Brown and Rihanna are soulmates, but their relationship is so damaged and scarred, with repressed resentment, they are going to have one horrible time trying to make things work. God brings people together, but some people mess it up with bad choices and end up regretting it.
