The 2012 Paralympic games drew to a close in London, England last night and it was another successful, inspiring athletic series. China topped the medals table, followed by America and host Britain. It has been a joy to watch the athletes compete in so many disciplines.

A national poll in England revealed the 2012 Paralympic games have given the public an even more favorable view of the disabled, which is great. The athletes wowed crowds in the stadiums and in living rooms, with people posting positive messages of love and support online.
