Justin Bieber has expressed an interest in becoming an actor in films, after a guest appearance on the television program "CSI." The 18-year-old singer from Canada has been looking through film scripts, in anticipation of making his big screen debut. But will he be a better actor than singer.

Some singers and rappers have successfully made the jump to the big screen, but others have failed miserably. Time will tell if Bieber has what it takes to be a movie star. Something tells me it will be somewhere in the middle. There's a reason for that.

Bieber's teeny bopper image will dissuade some directors for considering him for harder roles (as with his girlfriend, Disney actress Selena Gomez, who is also considered bubble gum). Then again, since he’s not Lindsay Lohan and currently turns up for work sober, he’s ahead of the game.
