Prominent U.S. Socialite Songwriter Denise Rich Leaves America And Expatriates Moving To London

The U.S. government has been publicly complaining of Americans leaving the country and expatriating, as the number of people who have left has sharply risen. The most famous this year was Brazilian born, Eduardo Saverin, co-founder of Facebook, who renounced his U.S. citizenship he acquired in 1998, to live and work in Singapore.

This week it was announced, wealthy socialite and songwriter, Denise Rich, who is a Democrat that has given over $1,000,000 in donations to her party over the years, has renounced her U.S. citizenship and moved to London, England. Previously, her husband Mark Rich received a presidential pardon from former President Bill Clinton, due to financial crimes he had committed. Rich is thought to be a billionaire and is now spending her time living in London.
