Recently, Megan Fox's husband, actor Brian Austin Green and
pop star, Justin Bieber, got into legal hot water for beating up paparazzi
that tried to take their pictures, during separate incidents gone bad. All
three stars have been hit with lawsuits, demanding financial compensation
for the melees.

It begs the question, is it right for stars to initiate
physical altercations with photographers. The answer is no, as people have
the right peace and safety, without fear of being attacked. However,
anti-stalking laws need to be applied to aggressive paparazzi, who
routinely stalk others and try to create uncomfortable and humiliating
situations in which to obtain photos for cash. The general rule of thumb
should be keep your distance and keep your hands to yourself.
