Championship Race Car Driver Dan Wheldon Dies In Accident At The Indianapolis 500

33-year-old British race car driver, Dan Wheldon, died in a tragic accident yesterday in Las Vegas, Nevada, during a 15-car collision on the track. It is being reported, drivers had complained prior to the race that the course was fast, even during practice, hitting speeds of 225 MPH. Wheldon was also said to be concerned over the "dirty air" from 34 cars. Over the past twenty years, several drivers have died on the track.


Wheldon, who lived in Florida, is survived by his wife Susie, 2-year-old son Sebastian and 7-month-old baby Oliver. The Judiciary Report sends its sincerest condolences to his family and friends. It is sad to see someone pass in the prime of their life.
