Governor Rick Perry Takes On Obama With Record Of Job Creation

Who Is Better At Creating Jobs

Barack Obama

Texas Governor and Republican Presidential Candidate, Rick Perry, has taken U.S. President Barack Obama to task, for the sore lack of job creation occurring in the U.S. Economy. Reports released last week indicate, U.S. job growth sits at 0%, a sad and regrettable fact that has not occurred since 1945.

Perry touted his job creation track record, stating he created 1.2 million jobs as the Governor of the U.S. state of Texas. Perry is using said job creation credentials on his resume, as a selling point for the 2012 election. This summer Perry, a Christian, called for a day of prayer and fasting in support of America, inviting many to a rally of the same.

"We've got to get America back working again," said Perry. "I didn't create those jobs. Americans created those jobs. Texans created those jobs because we allowed them to have an environment where they weren't overtaxed, over regulated and over litigated. We got out of the way and let the private sector do what the private sector does best." ...
