Reminiscent of some of the worst segments of the 2008 Financial Crisis, gas prices in America are reportedly set to surge again. It is one of the facets of the economic crisis that broke many working class people. In some U.S. states, people were playing $4-$5 per gallon of gasoline, which was misery for many.
Another bout of such gouging is going to have a worse impact than before, as unemployment has risen, while the housing market deteriorated, adding to Americans' financial burdens. The nation's financial state remains out of whack and the government has been unable to restore any balance.
