Michael Jackson
Dr. Conrad Murray, blamed for the death of pop star, Michael Jackson, who died of a pharmaceutical drug overdose, is using the defense the singer killed himself by administering the fatal dose. The aforementioned defense is hard to believe.
Murray is up on manslaughter charges for overmedicating Jackson. While he certainly deserves forgiveness, Murray should not be able to practice medicine. He has shown very poor judgment in obtaining and administering a laundry list of very potent medicines to a person, who had an addiction problem.
Conrad Murray
The Judiciary Report's concern is Murray may overdose another patient, under the guise of pharmaceutical care, when in reality it is drug abuse. Moreover, as a man has died, Murray should do jail time, because the death in question came about via criminal negligence.
No doctor could truly believe dispensing that much medicine, at the same time, to the same patient, was medically sound. He was begging for something bad to happen and it did. Doctors are often very cautious about mixing medications, due to contraindication factors. This was completely absent in the Jackson case and very negligently so.
