"My Fake Fiancé" stars Melissa Joan Hart (Jennifer) and Joey Lawrence (Vince), as two people that meet at a wedding and absolutely irritate each other, then due to financial hardships, decide to get married for the gifts and money they will receive from wedding guests. Well, at least they're not superficial (sarcasm).

However, his money problems become greater than hers, due to the mafia leaning on him for a large sum of money, whilst oddly insisting on being invited to the wedding, that they do not realize is a sham, as the couple are not in love.

However, after spending time with each other, the two actually fall in love, even though they deny it for the majority of the film. To save money, the two shack up together, without having sex, which is still not a good idea before marriage. There's nothing wrong with being old fashioned.

The end of the movie is very nice and capped off an entertaining and touching film. Hart and Lawrence are very believable and endearing in their roles.
