Pop Singer George Michael Jailed For DUI

British pop singer, George Michael, famous for such hits as "Careless Whisper" and "Faith" has been jailed in Britain for four weeks on an 8-week sentence, as he pled guilty to driving under the influence of marijuana. He apologized for his conduct and cried when he was placed in historic Pentonville Prison in London, England.

Michael crashed into photo store, Snappy Snaps, in London's wealthy Hampstead enclave, where he has a home. Police arrested Michael, who had two marijuana spliffs on his person. Lab test results concluded Michael had the drug in his system as well.

Michael has an addiction to cocaine, marijuana and select prescription drugs. Hopefully the jail time will help him detox. He's clearly having a hard time coping with the problems in his life. While the Judiciary Report does not agree with homosexuality for religious reasons, the site sends Michael best wishes on a potential rehab recovery. Here's hoping he finds a good rehab program that is beneficial to him. He should also bear in mind, prayer works as well, in resolving issues that have caused one trauma in life.
