Thieves tried to break into the home of disgraceful Girls Aloud singer, Cheryl Cole, by smashing the windows when they read she had fled Britain to avoid the terrible publicity surrounding her sham of a marriage to Chelsea FC player, Ashley Cole.
Little did they know, her adulterous husband was not staying with family, as was incorrectly reported in the press, but sleeping in the house Surrey house, just outside of London. He dialed 999 (British 911) begging the police to hurry out to the property. How ironic, thieves trying to rob a thief.
