Preventing Troop Suicides

The U.S. and British governments need to take up a serious initiative to prevent troop suicides. According to press reports, the number of troops committing suicide has regrettably risen. That number should be 0.

The men and women in the military have been exposed to the horrors of war. Whether they realize it or not, they need counseling and support, as they are human, regardless of being trained to be apart of the military machine.

To the troops: the American and British people do not hate you. They hate the wars and what they are doing to families and the economy. Do not commit suicide. Have faith that things will get better.

Obama certainly didn't start these wars, but he can end them.

November 17, 2009 7:57 p.m. EST - Washington (CNN) -- Suicides among soldiers this year have topped last year's record-breaking numbers, but Army officials maintain a recent trend downward could mean the service is making headway on its programs designed to reduce the problem, Army officials said Tuesday.

Since January, 140 active-duty soldiers have killed themselves while another 71 Army Reserve and National Guard soldiers killed themselves in the same time period, totaling 211 as of Tuesday, Gen. Peter Chiarelli, U.S. Army vice chief of staff, told reporters at a briefing Tuesday. But he said the monthly numbers are starting to slow down as the year nears its end.

"This is horrible, and I do not want to downplay the significance of these numbers in any way," Chiarelli said.

For all of 2008, the Army said 140 active-duty soldiers killed themselves while 57 Guard and Reserve soldiers committed suicide, totaling 197, according to Army statistics.

Dad That Sued Michael Jackson For Child Molestation Found Dead

Evan Chandler, 65, the Beverly Hills dentist that accused the late pop star, Michael Jackson, of molesting his son, despite his wife protesting the story as false, committed suicide, via a gunshot to the head, on November 5, 2009. He killed himself in his New Jersey condo. It is a very sad ending to a tragic story. Suicide is never the answer.

I thought it strange Chandler settled out of court with Jackson for $20,000,000, in exchange for not going forward with the molestation criminal case against the pop star. A real parent would never settle, if their child was molested, as they would want the perpetrator behind bars.

There were also stories that Chandler wanted Michael to produce a screenplay, making it into a movie and Jackson refused. Then came the molestation accusations.

Chandler's child has lived as a recluse for years, due to the terrible publicity that accompanied the story. It is my hope, he will not take the tragic route his dad did in ending his life and try to find peace through Jesus, who is there for him.

Actor, Josh Duhamel, has been accused of cheating on singer, Fergie, once again, but this time, right before he wed the Black Eyed Peas public pants pee-er. The scandalous website, the Dirty, has a story regarding Duhamel and a woman named Alexa.

Based on other stories that have come out from women in the Air Force and the allegations by stripper, Nicole Forrester, Duhamel appears to be a cheater. In this day and age, such conduct is dangerous to one's health, not to mention, destructive to a marriage. Hollywood men are seldom faithful.

In other news, stripper, Nicole Forrester, who passed a polygraph test regarding claims of having sex with Duhamel last month, has apologized to Fergie, stating she is telling the truth, but is sorry about the damage it has created in their marriage.

The only positive that has come out of this is Forrester stated she will stop stripping. That's good. Ask God for forgiveness and find a respectable job, setting a good example for your kids.

I asked her the next morning what happened between them and she said they just made out all night but if you know Alexa, then you know it was MUCH more than that. She said he told her “she was hands down the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen in his life”. He was sending her texts all the next day like “I miss you” and “can’t wait 2 see you again babe” and other ones in that sort of context that I can’t really recall....

And by the way for anyone who thinks this is made up, go ahead and ask Alexa yourself, she openly admits it (unlike 99% of the other dirt she does) I saw the texts myself and can even provide you with his phone number Nik to verify it was really him calling and texting her...

Stripper Apologizes to Fergie

Thursday – November 12, 2009 – 1:04pm - ...Nicole Forrester, the exotic dancer at the center of the Josh Duhamel adultery brouhaha, is extending an olive branch to the pop star wife of the actor she supposedly had sex with. "I'm sorry," the 34 year-old tells Extra.

At the time of the one-night stand, she explains "I thought, 'Nobody's gonna find out. It's not gonna hurt anybody . . . I'm sorry that I didn't think of it like I think of it now."

Things have been tough for Forrester since the news broke. Her son even told her "'you're disgusting. I didn't know you had sex with him,'" she claims. She says that she has quit stripping for good after her kids requested she "never do it again."

One thing she won't apologize for: speaking out. The affair is "the truth," she insists. "Too bad [Josh] can't just admit it."...

Obama And Abortion

U.S. President Barack Obama is facing difficulty tonight, over his decisions regarding abortion. Earlier in the year, he legalized stem cell research, which angered many anti-abortion activists. The bill was a bad idea.

Today, he is facing scrutiny from the opposite side of the spectrum, regarding his health care bill limiting abortions. Abortions should not be encouraged. It is not a good thing. It is an offense to God, as every life and baby counts. However, God can forgive you.

At the end of the day, society should seek to promote human life, not destroy it.

Congress To Probe Fort Hood

On November 14. 2009, the Judiciary Report stated, the U.S. Congress should probe the Fort Hood shootings, in spite of President Obama's wishes to the contrary.

Today, the U.S. Senate announced it will unobtrusively probe the Fort Hood murders, that were undertaken by Al Qaeda influenced, Muslim extremist, Nidal Malik Hasan.

FBI data on Fort Hood suspect is scrutinized

WASHINGTON — The FBI's effort after 9/11 to improve terrorism investigations will face sharp scrutiny this week as Congress begins probing whether authorities missed or ignored warning signs about the Army major charged with murdering 13 people at Fort Hood in Texas.

Inquiries will focus on FBI-led terrorism task forces that were expanded after 9/11 to unite federal and local authorities in 100 cities. The Joint Terrorism Task Force is "our nation's front line on terrorism," the FBI says on its website.

Yet lawmakers are questioning the task force that investigated Maj. Nidal Hasan in December and did not tell the Pentagon that he had exchanged 10 to 20 e-mails with a radical Muslim cleric.

"A lot of the dots were not connected," Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., said Sunday on CBS' Face the Nation. Leahy's committee will question Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday. The Senate homeland security committee opens its probe Thursday...

Human Dimension Lacking At The FBI

Why is the human dimension lacking at the FBI. Some of the worst crimes in U.S. history have transpired under their watch, with evidence later revealing they had sufficient proof something bad was about to happen, but inexplicably failed to prevent it.

Why doesn't the FBI think of the human impact of their conduct, when people are made physically ill, injured, maimed, disfigured or die, because the agency dropped the ball.

To FBI employees: what if it were your loved ones. How would you feel.

Why do you fail to utilize human compassion and sympathy, when you undertake your duties. Why do you leave innocent people to die?

I am of the belief, if more Special Agents in Charge were sued or held criminally liable for following FBI Director Robert S. Mueller's corrupt instructions, things would improve at that agency. Not a one of them would sign off on his madness anymore, which has left numerous innocent people dead, impaired or traumatized.

Why doesn't the FBI cross reference its files, as it would connect the dots and prevent some crimes from happening. For example, in the Fort Hood case, if someone had cross referenced the files on the alleged shooter, with items the FBI had in its investigative files, before the murders happened, they would have seen:

1.) Maj. Nidal Hasan was actively communicating with an imam, known for calling for the murders of soldiers and civilians in acts of Jihad

2.) Someone with the same name as Nidal Hasan was online glorifying Jihad and making threats of the same, in an incident reported to the FBI.

People can't blame you for failing to prevent what you don't know, but they can rightfully blame you over things you do know and do not act upon.

Once again, why is the human dimension lacking at the FBI. Most likely, some of it has to do with the agents' training and separately, the job of FBI Director.

Let's begin with the FBI Director. It is a job that comes with some influence, great temptation to illegally spy on people, financially enrich one's self and to misuse the post for personal gain. A man or woman of character would not fall prey to that, but if a questionable person attains the position, they will.

Agents are essentially trained at Quantico to be robots that fall in line at every command. It is engrained in them. Mix that with the confrontational, high pressure nature of the job and this explains the general lack of compassion at times from some, not all agents.

Additionally, FBI agents see horrific cases, such as child abduction, abuse, molestation, exploitation and prostitution and other harsh crimes, such as mob cases with gruesome murders.

It desensitizes some of them, hence the lack of human dimension and compassion at times. Some anger management and sensitivity training wouldn't hurt.

Some agents are overwhelmed by the job and develop a hopeless approach to cases, believing they can only do so much and things end up falling through the cracks.

Either way, something has got to change for the sake of national security, to meet and beat these terrible new threats that are emerging in America. Criminals have taken a radical approach to crime and the government needs to make radical changes to be ahead of them.

A completely inappropriate, semi-nude photo was sent to a rap website of a sleeping, 19-year-old, Aaron Reid, the son of singer turned minister Pebbles ("Sister Perri") and Island/Def Jam CEO, Antonio "L.A." Reid.

The surreptitious photo showed Reid asleep in a hotel room with his genitals exposed. The photograph was secretly taken by a disgruntled woman, angry that he did not provide her with money or career advancement for their sexual encounter.

I have nothing against Perri, but I'm not a fan of L.A. Reid, due to his dealings at Def Jam regarding this case, still I think what was done to their son is disgusting and appalling.

People are not even sure if he was a minor at the time the photo was taken, yet they are posting it unedited on the internet. Things like that can send people over the edge. I wish people would think before they post nude and semi-nude photos and videos of people online, without permission.

Congress needs to make a law barring such depraved conduct. Offenders that post nude and semi-nude photos and videos of people online, without permission, should face years in prison.

It is not a victimless crime. It has damaged many people emotionally and mentally. Teens have committed suicide over such invasiveness and exploitative conduct transpiring against them. There is nothing cute or funny about it.

Why is the internet so sick at times. It is as though there is a competition to see who can be the most depraved, debased, shocking and controversial and there is nothing funny about any of it. They don't stop to think of the impact it has on people's lives.

To those this has happened to, it is not the end of the world. Don't let it destroy your life.
