Soldier Threatens To Kill Miley Cyrus


Teen star Miley Cyrus, was stalked once again, this time by a U.S. soldier, Sean Mathis, who was arrested for threatening to kill her, outside the Georgia set of her new movie.

Mathias mistook Miley’s stunt double for the “Hannah Montana” star and began yelling death threats at her. Set security chased him down, only to find out he is a soldier. The matter was turned over to military police and they have decided to pursue criminal charges.

This is the second incident of criminal stalking Cyrus has faced recently, with the other assailant, a mentally ill man in his 50s, suffering from erotomania in believing the two have a special connection. He received probation from a district judge in Los Angeles for his unlawful conduct.

Posted on Oct 29, 2009 @ 01:10PM - Miley Cyrus must have breathed a sigh of relief Thursday, as the case against Sean Christian Mathis -- a 22-year-old Army airfield soldier formally accused of felony stalking the Hannah Montana star -- went to a grand jury.

Authorities said Mathis, who is charged with felony terrorist threats and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, showed up on the Tybee Island, Georgia set of Cyrus' Disney film, The Last Song, in June...

At that point, the officer said, Cyrus' body double in the film was approaching the set from a nearby pier.

Said the officer: "The same subject was walking towards her yelling, 'Hey it's Miley Cyrus, I'm going to f----- kill you!" The actress looked at the subject that was still approaching her at a quick pace...
