Scandals have erupted in just about every world government, regarding missing, wasted or misappropriated funds. In Jamaica, a government official used taxpayer money to renovate a home designated for people in his capacity that was already in good condition, as it was previously updated, angering the Jamaican public, as the money could have been used to build a school or repair roads.
