Michael Jackson's Will Mentions Diana Ross

All the details of deceased singer Michael Jackson's finances were not made available to the public, but a few items relating to his published will were announced. He is believed to have a net worth of $500,000,000.

Jackson designated his mother guardian of his children and if she was unable to perform the task, he wanted long time friend and former lover, Diana Ross, to take care of his children.

Ross has known Jackson for many years and was falsely credited with discovering his family's band, The Jackson Five, as a publicity ploy.

Jackson is believed to have performed the song "Dirty Diana" about Diana Ross as well as the video "Who Is It?" (during a scene in the video, a woman carries a card that says "Diana"). Both recordings are about a former lover that was unfaithful to him.

Side Bar: so, when will the Freedom Of Information Act requests on Michael Jackson begin at the FBI. He is deceased and as such, the records have to be made available upon request. With the tumultuous life he led, I can only image what's in that FBI file.

Posted on Jul 01, 2009 @ 12:31PM - According to his will filed Wednesday with the Los Angeles Superior Court, Michael Jackson entrusted guardianship of his children to his mother Katherine (with Diana Ross nominated as guardian if Katherine is unable to fulfill her duties) and left all of his assets in a trust fund.

The five-page document, which was signed in July 7, 2002, named his longtime lawyer John Branca, music executive and friend John McClain and Barry Siegel as executors of the will. It also left out any consideration for the mother of his first two children Debbie Rowe...
