"Arthur" the remake of the 1981 film of the same name, did not live up to its predecessor, regarding the promiscuous Brit living in New York. The reboot, which stars British comedic actor, Russell Brand, in the role, did not quite do the late Dudley Moore justice. Most filmgoers probably did not look past the surface of this film's trailer, to buy a ticket to see it, as the movie so paled in comparison to what came before it, the deterioration in quality was immediately apparent.

The film did have a few funny moments, but it took way too long for them to arrive. Some jokes did fall somewhat flat, while ironically characterizing the Obama Administration's view on economics. When officials inform Arthur he is living a lavish and meaningless life, by stating, "How do you explain this frivolous spending during a recession" - he simply goes to an ATM, obtains funds from his family's account and spontaneously begins throwing it all over a room full of people while proclaiming, "Free money, recession's over, we're in a boom." The Obama school of economics, indeed.

Speaking of Obama, Hollywood has been name dropping him in their movies, as a means of promoting him. This is being done in bids at propping him up, after their insane agenda, bad advice and constant presence at the White House, firmly planted the first African-American presidency in trouble (see polls). When Arthur is confronted by his mother about his debauched lifestyle and her desire for him to marry a domineering woman he does not love, she admonishes him by stating, "As the charming coffee colored gentleman (Obama) that runs this country said, 'It is time to put aside childish things.'" Actually, that phrase came from the Bible (1 Corinthians 13:11). Leave it to Hollywood to compliment and insult in the same sentence, where no matter what they tell you, race is a factor.

What if socialite Paris Hilton were poor, would she get as much publicity as she currently does, for being an irresponsible, drug taking party hopper. Her family gave her a good financial start in life, but she has not done anything productive with it, resulting in Hilton being disinherited and disowned by older relatives, shocked at her outrageous behavior.

She has disgraced the Hilton name, hurling slurs at minorities, which was caught on tape. And speaking of tapes, Hilton released a sex tape as a means of becoming famous, infuriating her grandfather and his siblings. None of these deeds can be considered accomplishments.

One has to wonder, how does her dad, Rick Hilton, feel about his exhibitionist daughter, who constantly goes around publicly exposing her lady parts, whether it be on tape or in incidents that have been photographed by the paparazzi. It couldn't make a dad proud.

The Democrats and Republicans in the U.S. Congress continue fighting over taxes and it is creating a terrible backlash against President Barack Obama. He has compromised with Republicans, in granting tax cuts for the rich, at a time the country needs the revenue the most.

President Obama did so in an effort to continue providing unemployment benefits to America's jobless, in what was essentially a trade off. The Judiciary Report is a conservative site, but at the end of the day, on the side of justice, on a case by case basis. As such, the Republicans, who are usually the conservatives, should not have held out for tax cuts to benefit the rich, at the expense of the nation.

The Judiciary Report is of the view, both Republicans and Democrats are living in a dream world regarding national debt and what it is going to breed for America in the near future.

In light of the financial crisis of 2008, which the White House and Congress have failed to stem, the rich do not deserve tax breaks, as many of the nation's wealthiest citizens are sitting on engorged bank accounts that came from sheer robbery, corruption, theft, fraud and gouging. It's time to repatriate that stolen money (off shore accounts held by tax cheats and domestic tax shelters as well).

And if you think that's too difficult to do as elected representatives, just envision an America with widespread poverty, no federal government, due to lack of funds, a drastically reduced military and greatly diminished international prowess. All that, so two percent of the nation can live like kings and queens off ill-gotten gains. Once again, you need to tax the rich to a greater degree.

As stated previously, the Judiciary Report is in favor of raising taxes on America's richest citizens, to help ease the financial trauma of the current economic depression. The middle class and the poor should be left out of a tax hike. However, the Obama Administration is beginning to waffle on raising taxes on the rich, when it is fiscally necessary at this point in time.

Once again, some of America's richest citizens single-handedly created the current financial depression, via greed and gouging. It has harmed so many people, who are now out of work and without their home, thanks to foreclosure.

The rich should be made to give back what they took, above what they were entitled to under the law. Taxation is a cheap, cost effective way to do so. A nation of 305,000,000 cannot function for or be made to suffer for the benefit of the (financial) top two percent of its citizens, also known as the rich.

Never mind the economy is in the toilet, U.S. President Barack Obama is phoning home insults about rival Republicans, labeling them the party for the rich, whilst he vacations in a posh part of the American state, Maine. Clearly, the irony of that was lost on the President. Considering Obama is now rich as well, thanks to book and other deals, that dig didn't resonate as he intended it to do.

Obama has stated, the Republicans are holding back America's progress and he is right. But so are the Democrats. Congress as a whole, through poor oversight, inadequate policies and full-on corruption, brought America to this place.

So yes, the Republicans AND Democrats in Congress are to blame for holding back America's progress, not the American people, who work each weekday to pay their taxes, only for Congress to blow it on things the people do not approve of in the least.

Congress has exhibited no real control over the FBI and SEC, who are supposed to police and prosecute crimes in the financial sector. As a result, greedy financial criminals wreak havoc on the economy via ponzi schemes, bad mortgages, theft and very risky investments.
