2011 Charlie’s Angels TV Show Reboot Is Not As Good As The Original Series

Another ABC Reboot Goes Wrong

Charlie's Angels (2011)

The original "Charlie's Angels" television series, produced by Aaron Spelling, was a big hit in the 1970s and 1980s. The show was rebooted this month for ABC and not very well. It is not as good as the original. The Judiciary Report does not think Spelling would have liked the new treatment.

Charlie's Angels (1976-1981)

The movie series done several years ago, was not that great either, but the new television series is somewhat cheesy. This maybe due to ABC and NBC struggling with making reboots. The new "Wonder Woman" series that was made, but not aired, was pretty corny, ruining a former hit concept.

Charlie's Angels dolls are adorable

Hollywood has been going into overdrive with reboot after reboot and many of them simply are not good. To do that is to damage the legacy of the original product and sometimes upsetting the public in the process, as revealed by feedback posts on various websites.

Wonder Woman To Megan Fox: Shut Your Pie Hole!

Megan Fox Disses Wonder Woman And Gets Dissed Back

Megan Fox in mock up as "Wonder Woman"

Megan Fox has gotten herself into trouble again. For many months, she has been named as a potential actress to fill the role of Wonder Woman, in a forthcoming remake of the comic. Rather than take a graceful approach to the situation, Fox, who was recently fired from the blockbuster franchise, "Transformers" took the undignified route.

Fox slammed "Wonder Woman" originally played by Lynda Carter, "Wonder Woman is a lame superhero. She flies around in her invisible jet and her weaponry is a lasso that makes you tell the truth. I just don't get it. Somebody has a big challenge on their hands whoever takes that role but I don't want to do it."

Lynda Carter as "Wonder Woman" in the 1970s

This prompted Carter to respond, "(Fox) actually kind of trashed Wonder Woman. She said she thought it was dumb, like 'what's the big whoop making people tell the truth.' I like her, I just thought she shouldn't trash Wonder Woman."

Note to Megan: At least Lynda didn't make "Jonah Hex." Now that was a wack superhero movie. I told you all through this Column that it was wack before you released it and I told you it was wack after you released it. You're welcome.
