"Barack Obama orders 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan"

Based on declining poll numbers, public feedback sections and basic chatter on the streets, the American people are not happy with President Barack Obama's decision to send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan, to fight a futile war. Obama has pledged that after sending the additional troops, the war will be wrapped up by 2011, one year before the Presidential elections. This is a bad idea and it shall become his Waterloo.

Due to the political, social and military dynamic that exists in the Middle East, the U.S. Army is in for a terrible time with this renewed mission, which should have been ended, not rebooted. Islamic extremists will strengthen their resolve and many lives will be lost as a result, which is horrible. The U.S. and British militaries need to leave the region and deal with terrorism in a productive manner, more conducive to and in accordance with the preservation of human life.

In his highly anticipated speech on his new war strategy, President Obama said the United States did not "ask for this fight," saying that the war started in response to the al-Qaida terror attacks that killed nearly three-thousand people.

40,000 More Troops For Afghanistan

"40,000 Troops to Afghanistan?" - CBS 40,000 more troops have been requested from U.S. President Barack Obama, for combat in Afghanistan. The lowest estimate furnished is 10,000 troops, with the ideal target amount being 40,000. Afghanistan is going to become Obama's waterloo, if they charge ahead with this plan. The Judiciary Report and many others are not for this course of action. America's creditors, such as China, are already concerned and questioning the country's debt level. This surge via 40,000 troops is going to create massive expenditures. Not to mention, terrible loss of life.
