Recently, I was on the Instagram page of a celebrity. On his page was a cry for help from a young girl. On her page she he mentioned being sad, depressed and struggling with a lack of will to live. It's heartbreaking to read such despondency from people, especially teens, who don't realize they have so much to live for.
Parents and older siblings need to watch for the signs of depression and potential suicidal behavior in their relatives and intervene. Depression can lead to people doing irrational things moments of sadness when they lose all hope about life. A depressed perspective can cause people to lose sight of the fact life can and will get better. Suicide is not the answer. No matter what you may think, you are loved and things can get better.
