Economists Forecast Obama Will Not Fix The U.S. Economy By The 2012 Election

Barack Obama

The Conference Board has predicted that U.S. President Barack Obama will not be able to turn the economy around before the next election in 2012, via chief economist Bart van Ark's pronouncement, "We are not going to see the recovery that we expect in 2013 to 2016."

Van Ark cites high unemployment and skyrocketing deficits as the main culprit. This has created slow growth that has not been remedied. Van Ark is of the belief America will not return to the growth or employment levels the nation enjoyed prior to the financial crisis. America can recover, but only with the right president that knows that he is doing in the area of economics.
