"Post Grad" starring Alexis Bledel was an abysmal flop at the box office. What was a good concept, with promise, descended into banality and boredom, once you got past the film's trailer and actually bought a ticket or rented the subsequent DVD. When I saw the trailer I thought "that looks good" but when I watched the movie I was like "Nooooo!"

Bledel stars as Ryden, a young university graduate, disturbed by her friends moving forward with their professional lives, while she can't find a job to reflect the hard work that went into her degree. She is hardworking, but somewhat flighty.

The acting in this film was not the problem. The script was and it let the film down. The movie was nonsensical and unnecessarily vulgar at certain points, while losing track of the theme of the film at other junctures (I've never seen a movie do that before). The idea for the film was poorly executed and dragged on too much, which says a lot considering it was only 88 minutes in duration.
