No Angels Pop Singer Convicted Of Spreading HIV

A court in Germany found pop singer, Nadja Benaissa, guilty of knowingly spreading the HIV virus to a former boyfriend. However, she has been given a two-year suspended sentence and 300 hours of community service.

Benaissa, discovered she was HIV positive at age 16, when she gave birth to her daughter. She has apologized to her ex-boyfriend and another man she infected, for having unprotected sex with them, knowing her medical status.
