President Barack Obama is adamant U.S. troops remain in Afghanistan indefinitely, not bowing to the will of the American people, who seek an immediate withdrawal from the region.
This decision is going to negatively impact his presidency, as he will see in the long run. Yesterday, the Judiciary Report provided another, sound alternative, as opposed to across the board combat in the region, which has killed many civilians.
It is rather regrettable that Obama has chosen this stance. The collateral damage is horrific and the financial toll shall further devastate the already decimated U.S. economy.
