Luka Rocco Magnotta
Gay porn star, Luka Rocco Magnotta, was arrested in
Berlin, Germany at an internet cafe, on international charges of murder,
dismemberment and cannibalism, in connection with the horrible death of
his homosexual lover, Jun Lin. Magnotta filmed the grisly murder,
dismemberment and cannibalism, then uploaded it to the internet. People
were shocked at the macabre display, with some thinking it was a prank
or movie. Sadly it was real.
A warrant was issued for his arrest, leading Magnotta to
flee Canada for Germany. After vain Magnotta went into an internet cafe
to check the coverage of himself online and in the press, with outlets
stating he wanted to "look at pictures of himself" the attendant
recognized him from the news and called police. He was detained by
police in Germany, who are preparing to extradite him to Canada, where
he faces life in prison.
