Santorum Is Surging In The Polls Presenting A New Challenge For President Barack Obama

Mitt Romney Is Still Pulling In Support As Well

Barack Obama

Conservative Christian, Rick Santorum, is surging in the polls, creating a new problem for U.S. President Barack Obama, who thought his only rival was Mitt Romney. With Newt Gingrich's campaign bid in tatters, the Obama Administration is now closely watching his two most prominent rivals, a resurgent Rick Santorum and a steady Mitt Romney, who are polling well and winning primaries.

Rick Santorum

Santorum, like Obama, is a successful attorney and can match wits with him on a number of matters, particularly where the law is concerned, as it relates to the U.S. Constitution. Romney is a multi-millionaire businessman, who can cite his business background as a tool in possibly turning the battered economy around to potential profitability.

Mitt Romney

The Obama Administration has been digging up dirt on both men in an effort to preserve his job. However, they are digging up dirt on Obama as well. President Obama is desperate to keep his job and his rivals are desperate for "change" due to the poor state of the economy. How ironic that Obama's one word slogan would be used against him.
