Obama's Refusal To Show Osama Photo Could Cost Him Votes In 2012

Barack Obama

U.S. President Barack Obama's refusal to publish photos of deceased terrorist, Osama Bin Laden, who was killed during a Navy Seals raid on his Pakistan home, could backfire on the Commander-in-Chief in the 2012 election.

Many online do not believe Bin Laden is dead and have labeled the reports of his death a despicable hoax by the Obama Administration, to distract from other issues, such as the failing economy. This does not spell good news for Obama's reelection bid.

Osama Bin Laden

Photos of Saddam Hussein's slain sons were published by the U.S. government, during the Iraq war, as was a video of the dictator's hanging. The photographs did not cause a major uproar. Therefore, such actions are not without precedent.

As a concession, President Obama, has decided to allow select members of Congress, to preview the photos of Osama's corpse, but that will not be good enough for the world public, who are demanding to see proof of the notorious terrorist's death.
