CNN reporter Anderson Cooper, who was beaten in Egypt: maybe I shouldn't have went over there
Did you notice which reporters got attacked in Egypt, during the current uprising and protests. The white ones (Anderson Cooper, Katie Couric and two dudes from Fox News). Why? Because the black ones didn't go. You see, white people are fearless and brave and sometimes leap into situations that are too dangerous. But black people generally don't do that.
Wolf Blitzer (right): Glad I didn't go..."and they're so black!"
Had I been assigned the job of going to Egypt during the rioting, I would have simply stated, " Uh, no, I think I'm gonna sit this one out, because they look really upset. I'll cover this story from Twitter. In the meantime, I'm going to the mall. Tweet me when something happens." My report would look like this "Live from the Twitter Timeline Egypt, people appear to be rioting..."

In all seriousness, reporters need to give the people of Egypt their space right now and let them sort out this conflict, hopefully in a peaceful, swift manner. Best wishes to them for a positive resolution.
