Though their financial and political policies greatly differ, President Obama, a Democrat, is seeking a partnership with the GOP, to address America's unemployment and mortgage crisis.
Congress has been touting bipartisanship for years, but in all honesty, it has not happened. Each side has held out for the things that matter most to their platform. The American people have become the children in an acrimonious political divorce that should not happen. They fail to grasp, if one side fails, both sides fail.
