Congress Waffling On Budget Reductions

Barack Obama

The U.S. Congress has opened for the new term and a number of newbies have been sworn in. Most of the talk in Washington today, had to do with the U.S. deficit and an ever-escalating budget. Congress is uncertain of where to make budget cuts.

Putting off what is the inevitable, which will induce further financial deterioration if not addressed, is not a good idea. The path President Obama and some in Congress continue to pursue is reckless. Their methods are completely unproven and shall cost the U.S. government every dime.
