Barack Obama
U.S. President, Barack Obama, is facing massive opposition, regarding his political policies. The backlash from his unruly spending sprees, is rubbing off on his Democratic Party. The "Organizing For America" group, which mobilized citizens to vote for Obama in 2008, has seen a significant erosion of support and financial contributions.
The group that once boasted 6,000 workers, is down to 300 people. The money is drying up, save for the $40,000,000 in taxpayer money, Obama kicked their way, which poses a conflict of interest. Prominent Democrats are also complaining, the President's over-spending is damaging their interests with voters.
Democrats in Congress and new politicians in the party, are painfully illustrating, they have to think about their own campaigns, with tenures that have the potential to far outlast Obama's presidency. Their political careers are being jeopardized, due to poor political planning on the President's, during challenging economic times.
On the other side of the aisles, Republicans are salivating, as they see an opportunity to rack up wins at the polls this November. Young Republicans have even denounced former U.S. President, George W. Bush, stating he abandoned their ideals and his conduct is not representative of them, in an effort to distance themselves from his legacy.
The Judiciary Report would like to close this article, with a few poignant words, regarding the November 2010 mid-term elections, from noted scholar, Alvin from the Chipmunks, "It's on like Donkey Kong."
