The violence against women by famous men is growing more disturbing with each incident that hits the headlines. Famous men are supposed to set an example, yet often behave worse than anonymous individuals. Violence against women is wrong, regardless of who engages in the criminal misconduct.

There is a trend in Hollywood of famous men abusing their ex-wives and ex-girlfriends, even though they are dating other people. Case in point, Mayweather has been dating famous women and unknowns, yet became enraged with his ex-girlfriend, the mother of his children, for finding someone else. It is as though famous men seek to keep a stable of women, like a harem, where females are to be solely devoted to them and no one else.
