Tiger Woods Takes An Indefinite Leave Of Absence From Golf Due To Bad Back And Lowered Ranking

Tiger Woods, the man known as the world's best golfer, is taking a break from golf. Woods has a chronic back problem that has caused him a significant amount of pain and hampered his game. Woods' back problem has twice required surgery.

Woods' recent performances this year that saw his ranking plummet, revealed he was no longer playing like himself. It created a stir in the press as pundits wondered out loud what happened to golf's number one star.

As such, Woods announced he is taking time off from the sport he loves. Woods stated, "Right now I need a lot of work on my game and to still spend time with the people that are important to me. My play and scores are not acceptable for the tournament of golf. Next week I will practice at Medalist and at home getting ready for the rest of the year. I am committed to getting back to the pinnacle of my game."

Woods' game has suffered due to the sex scandal he was embroiled in that cost him his marriage and broke up his family. Over one dozen women came forward stating they were having affairs with Woods. The sexual activity with all these women diminished Woods' game, as it split his focus, sapped his strength and promoted injury. He has not been the same since. Not to mention, these women betrayed him to the press via paid tell alls and exploitative, frivolous lawsuits that were a cash grab.

Woods has already earned his place in golf history as the best ever and the man who revolutionized the sport, bringing in new fans of all ages, lifting its popularity worldwide to historic heights. However, promiscuity damaged his personal life and professional game. Athletes need to resist the temptation of being promiscuous. The damage to one's life, health and career are not worth it.

While she is not the raging drug addict Jay Z's mistresses Rihanna and Rita Ora are, Beyonce has a problem. Beyonce, like her sister, Solange Knowles, struggles with mental illness, in a family problem that was discussed on Miami radio. Beyonce and Jay Z are apart of Hollywood's so-called "Illuminati" and have exposed themselves to very unethical, questionable and devilish things for money and fame that their psyches are having serious trouble dealing with. Drugs are a dangerous escape.

Rita Ora, one of the mistresses of rapper, Jay Z, who signed her to a record and management deal, was very embarrassed recently after she sent out a tweet to her millions of followers on Twitter stating, "Dropping my new song monday if this get 100,000 retweets" [Jay Z Is A Pimp (Rihanna And Rita Ora)]. Simple enough you would think for a person with 3,950,000 followers, right? Wrong! 

The tweet barely received 2,000 retweets. This indicates some of Ora's followers have been bought through third party services, where anyone can buy as many followers as one likes, to give one's page a certain look of popularity. Either way, it speaks to the state of Ora's career that this happened. 

Los Angeles Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Slams Magic Johnson For Having HIV And States He's Done Nothing For Black People (Video)

 

Racist, Los Angeles Clippers basketball team owner, Donald Sterling, issued an apology for his racist rant, demanding his mistress, V Stiviano, not bring Magic Johnson and other black people to his games. The apology was long overdue and came when Sterling and his racist wife realized the NBA has the legal right to ban him from the league and force the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers, as it is a franchise, not an independent business. 

However, Sterling made things worse by going on a rant against former Los Angeles Lakers basketball player, Magic Johnson. Sterling stated, "'Big Magic Johnson what has he done? He's got AIDS. He acts so holy. He made love to every girl in every city in America, and he had AIDS, and when he had those AIDS, I went to my synagogue and I prayed for him, I hope he could live and be well. I didn't criticize him. I could have. Is he an example for children?"

Johnson contracted HIV from promiscuous sex in the 1980s and went public with the announcement regarding his health status in 1991. He decried the behavior that led to his HIV positive status. Johnson has also tried to educate the public on the ills of HIV and AIDS (unlike some singers, actors, models and sports stars advertising their sexually reckless behavior to impressionable fans). Johnson built businesses that have hired minorities as well as white people. 

Sterling shouldn't slam someone for having HIV or AIDS. There are many athletes and entertainers struggling with HIV and AIDS. Considering there are stories in the press regarding Sterling having kept a prostitute paying $500 per visit, as well as a mistress, V. Stivano (who was one of many he cheated on his wife with) he is in no position to cast aspersions.

Fame becomes heartbreaking when promiscuity leads to HIV. You'd be surprised to learn how many famous athletes, entertainers and models have HIV. Many more stars have virulent cases of other sexually transmitted diseases that are life altering and unpleasant, due to the promiscuity they engage in. That's the side you don't often see of fame. You see the money and celebrity lifestyle, but not what sexual promiscuity causes. 

Rather than condemn the sick, Hollywood and the sports industries need to stop telling the world condoms are a cure all, because they have a failure rate of 36% and doesn't protect from all sexually transmitted diseases. Set a better example for audiences rather than condemning the sick or on the other end of the spectrum, bragging about being sexually promiscuous, setting a bad example for impressionable people seeking to be just like you.

Audacious gold digger, Vanessa Lopez, has taken groupie behavior to new extremes. Lopez accused O’Neal of a laundry list of crimes against her, when she allegedly broke up with him, which seems incredulous. The two had an affair while he was married, where she kept extracting gifts from him. Lopez is also known as the groupie who stole Kenyon Martin’s credit card and charged $10,000 worth of items to it while he was sleeping, after having sex with her in a hotel.

Lopez, not satisfied with having sued O’Neal and lost, is now penning a tell-all book that is disgraceful. A report states she is going to claim O’Neal was molested at age 8 by a family member. How does she believe it is her place to make such a claim. It is just plain cruel and exploitative. I will not be buying her book, for trying to use someone that financially helped her when things were bad, only for her to spit in his face because he wouldn’t leave his wife for her and was interested in someone else.

He could have used that money to pay off the mortgage on his condo.

Tasha confirmed it to her fellow reality stars, who looked a bit stunned and saddened. At the end of the day no one deserves a payoff for damaging someone's marriage.

Stephon's wife has stuck by him, yet the chef has abandoned him, even taking him to court for money she was not morally entitled to in any fashion. Now he sees who truly loves him.

"A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story" is a powerful two part mini-series that was well cast and well acted. The film is based on the true story of housewife Betty Broderick, who killed her husband of 16-years and his mistress-turned-wife, after they repeatedly taunted her regarding their adulterous relationship.

Broderick, played by "Family Ties" actress Meredith Baxter, becomes unglued when her husband, Dan Broderick, whom she worked to help put through university, becomes a successful attorney, then starts having an affair with his younger, scheming secretary, Linda Kolkena.

Dan leaves his wife for Kolkena and the two rub Betty's face in their affair, which was cruel. They engage in stunts and taunts that begin to mentally unravel Betty, who becomes devastated at losing it all and it such a mocking manner. Dan decides to marry Linda, who essentially tries to take Betty's place in his life and that of his four children with Betty.

Betty snaps one day unable to cope at being replaced, breaks into Dan and Linda's home and shoots them both to death in their bed while they sleep. Betty, who recounts her story to the court with varying expressions, from blank and emotionless to hysterically crying, stated "I have regrets but no remorse." She is sentenced to 32-years to life in prison and currently sits behind bars for the double homicide.

What Betty did was very wrong in what was a negative reaction to the toxic conduct of her husband and his mistress, as trying to harm others is not the way. People in such situations need to take the high road and work towards rebuilding their lives when their spouse engages in treachery against them. Betrayal hurts, but prison will hurt even more. 

This story was a sad example of what can happen when people are pushed too far, as it is not a good idea pushing people's buttons. People need to exercise human compassion in their choices, realizing what can emanate from them. Honor your marriage vows and try to work through your differences.
