Former Subway Restaurant Spokesperson Jared Fogle Sentenced to 15-Years In Prison For Pedophilia

Former Subway restaurant spokesperson, Jared Fogle, whose claim to fame was losing weight eating sandwiches from the famed restaurant chain, has been convicted of having sex with minors and possessing child porn. Fogle was charged with, "Traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and distribution and receipt of child pornography."

Fogle, who initially denied all the charges until he saw the sweeping evidence against him, pled guilty and has now been sentenced to 15-years in prison for these serious offenses. This exceeds the government's request of 12-years. This is likely due to the fact members of the public flooded the chambers of Judge Tanya Walton Pratt with letters demanding she not be lenient in sentencing, for the safety of children in the community. Hopefully, Fogle will serve his full sentence and not be granted parole under early release, as his sex crimes have significantly damaged innocent children.

By Sarah Larimer November 19 at 3:40 PM -  Fogle faced two counts: traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor, and distribution and receipt of child pornography. “How do you plead to the charges?” U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Walton Pratt asked Fogle on Thursday at the federal courthouse in Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Star. “Guilty,” Fogle replied.

Pratt sentenced him to 15 years and eight months behind bars, according to the Associated Press. The news service reported that prosecutors had recommended a 12½-year sentence. “The level of perversion and lawlessness exhibited by Mr. Fogle is extreme,” the judge said, according to the Star. The AP reported that Fogle’s family grew emotional as Pratt announced the sentence. Some of Fogle’s family members in the courtroom started crying and hugging each other when he ordered taken into immediate custody.

“Members of my family are also victims of my acts,” Fogle said before noting that his wife will be a single mother...“You gave your wife $7 million, so she’ll be OK,” the judge said, interrupting...

A local ad agency referred Fogle to the Subway corporation and they signed him as their frontman. Fogle's story increased revenues and for years he continued as Subway's spokesman. However, a terrible secret was lurking. Jared was engaging in pedophilia.

In April 2015, the FBI arrested Russell Taylor, the head of Fogle's Jared's Foundation, an alleged charity for kids. However, Taylor and Fogle were exploiting children. It was discovered that Taylor placed hidden cameras in his bathroom to capture video and images of children as young as six-years of age in various states of undress, as they used the toilet.

In July 2015 the FBI raided Jared's Zionsville, Indiana home and confiscated computers. Initially, Jared lied by denying any wrongdoing and his attorney insisted his client is innocent. One month ago, the Judiciary Report insisted Jared engaged in criminal conduct regarding minors or the FBI would not have risked the legal liability of a high profile raid without compelling evidence  (Subway's Jared Stated 'Middle School Girls Are Hot').

Yesterday, the FBI filed an indictment against Jared alleging he traveled across state lines in America to engage in sex with underage boys and girls, ages 14-16, some of whom were prostitutes. Yesterday, Jared pled guilty to the charges and as apart of the plea deal will spend at least 5-years in prison, pay $1,400,000 in restitution to his victims and register as a sex offender. Subway has announced the company is permanently ending their relationship with Jared.

A Florida woman went to the FBI with troubling statements Jared made to her, which resulted in an investigation being opened.

The unnamed woman has spoken to Jared on and off for years. When she made the complaint to the FBI, they asked her to wear a wire to catch Jared making further inappropriate statements about children. The woman, who is a journalist, agreed to wear the wire and Jared was caught making pedophilic statements, revealing how mentally ill he is to hold said views about underage girls.

Days after the raid it was revealed, one of the statements Jared made is, "Middle school girls are hot!" The sickening statement troubled the woman, as Middle school girls are between the ages of 11-14. For any grown man in his thirties to think 11-14 year-old girls are hot, indicates serious mental problems.

This confirms what the Judiciary Report stated the day of the raid, "Based on their actions in past cases, for the FBI to have done this, they are calling Jared a pedo. Hence the high profile raid. They found something they do not like and decided to raid Jared's home as a result to obtain additional evidence. It's very sad that children have been harmed and hopefully justice will be served regarding the perpetrators."

Fogle, 37, started a kids charity called the Jared Foundation. This past April, the director of Jared Foundation, Russell Taylor, 43, was arrested on child porn charges. A raid of his home resulted in the confiscation of 400 child porn videos he made and distributed to others. Jared released a statement on the matter revealing, “I was shocked to learn of the disturbing allegations against Mr. Taylor. Effective immediately, the Jared Foundation is severing all ties with Mr. Taylor.”

Apparently, he wasn’t too shocked, as this week the FBI raided Jared’s home in Zionsville, Indiana and confiscated items from the house in connection with a child porn investigation. As such, Subway has terminated its relationship with Jared. Subway released a statement on breaking ties with Jared, “Subway and Jared Fogle have mutually agreed to suspend their relationship due to the current investigation. Jared continues to cooperate with authorities and he expects no actions to be forthcoming. Both Jared and Subway agree that this was the appropriate step to take.”

Troubled singer, Chris Brown is in more doo-doo again again. Yesterday, the felon got into a fist fight with gay rapper, Frank Ocean (you know, Kanye's boo - LOL). Several months ago, Brown and Ocean had a disagreement on Twitter. Last night the two ran into each other at the Westlake Recording studio in Los Angeles, California and things went downhill from there, as a fight erupted.

Brown was first to give his side of the story to website TMZ, claiming as he was leaving the recording studio, when Ocean and his entourage tried to detain him, blocking the exit. Next he stated Ocean and his guys confronted him in the parking lot and an argument began over a parking spot. Brown states he reached out to shake Ocean's hand and a member of the singer's entourage punched him, leading to a fight. That's Brown's side of the story.

However, Ocean is stating Brown, backed up by his own entourage, punched him and a fight broke out with all the men. Ocean stated on Twitter he was "jumped" by Brown and co. and his hand is now injured, which poses a problem regarding his Grammy performance next month. Ocean stated online, "Got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest [his dog] was there. cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys." In response to the incident, Chris Brown stated online, "Working on my album. Not working on negativity. Focus on feeding ya family. Bull***t will forever be in the shadows."

The Judiciary Report is trying to be objective, but it is obvious pieces of this story are missing from both sides. Neither man filed a police complaint when officers arrived on the scene, because Brown had fled and Ocean refused to press charges.

As I pointed out on Twitter this morning, this incident is a probation violation for Brown, who is half way through the 5-year probationary period the judge assessed and levied against him for getting into a fight with girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Brown also got into a fight with rival rapper Drake at a night club several months ago. He's also engaged in other probation violations such as stalking and doing so across state lines. Then there’s that incident regarding his entourage harassing staff at a Subway restaurant and in the parking lot.

Brown needs to stop getting into these situations. He is becoming the female Lindsay Lohan. The judge has given him a pass on many issues and incidents. However, if his case is reassigned to a judge who scrutinizes parolees more than the current jurist, he could land in jail, which is a rough place for a pretty boy who can dance ("pop and lock" would take on a whole new meaning in jail).

If Ocean changes his mind and presses charges, with Brown’s history of fighting, he'd have a legal problem on his hands regarding his probation. Brown needs to learn to stay at home for a change with some DVDs, video games and some food. If he gets into anymore serious trouble, he’s going to jail. Because Brown can get into trouble even in the parking lot of a Subway restaurant (maybe you should stay out of parking lots). Dude, how do you get into trouble at Subway. Eat your sub and your cookie and calm down.

Reports today indicate, woman beater Chris Brown and his friends terrorized elderly people at a subway restaurant. Brown's friends harassed an elderly woman working at the restaurant, for asking them to pay extra money for the additional meat they requested. She had every right to ask his cheap backside to pay more money for the additional food.

It seems fair enough, but not to Brown's posse. They became verbally abusive and threatening. When other older people tried to intervene, they turned on them as well, issuing racial slurs. Brown's bodyguard even chased one of the innocent men trying to defend the elderly Subway worker, around the parking lot with a taser.

As usual, wherever Chris Brown goes there is trouble. For someone on probation, he certainly likes to get up to no good and menace innocent people. He wouldn't like it if anyone treated his mother like that, but here we have it, they are disrespecting and terrorizing elderly people. Foul!

Devante From Jodeci Arrested

Recently, the Judiciary Report wrote about the reality show "K-CI and JoJo Come Clean" featuring members of the defunct music group, Jodeci, being placed in a home based alcohol rehabilitation program. Well, it looks like another former Jodeci member, Devante Swing (Donald DeGrate Jr) could use the rehab program as well, as he was seen stumbling around drunk and high, in a California Subway restaurant. What would Jared say!

The police were called, Devante was detained, but released without charge hours later, when he sobered up. The former producer, known for a number of hits in the 1990s, developed an addiction to cocaine and alcohol, which swiftly brought his demise. It lead to erratic behavior, such as sexual assault and violence, which landed him in legal trouble.

Swing was famously held hostage in his New Jersey home by armed gunmen, who pistol whipped him and robbed the singer/producer of a fortune in jewelry and electronics. Drugs and alcohol took such a terrible toll on his life and mind, he was unable to focus on performing and producing music. Rehab is long overdue.
