This is a follow up to the October 24, 2009 article "What Were They Thinking" regarding ESPN sportsanchor Steve Phillips and the adulterous sex scandal surrounding him. Mr. Phillips was fired the next day, as was his mistress, Brooke Hundley.

It has been revealed, this was not Phillips' first affair on the job, as he was in a similar situation in 1998, for which he was sued.

Therefore, to his adulteress, Brooke Hundley, contrary to what you cruelly wrote to his wife, you really, "Were just some girl he was having sex with in parking lots" as he's done this before. However, he stayed with his wife, not you.

Adulteresses take note. Most men love their wives. Just because they cheat, does not mean the extramarital affair means something to them. However, said conduct is wrong.

Baseball analyst Steve Phillips was fired by ESPN on Sunday night, less than a week after he admitted having an affair with a production assistant at the cable network.

A representative for Phillips also announced the former Mets general manager was entering a treatment facility "to address his personal issues."...

"Steve Phillips is no longer working for ESPN," network spokesman Josh Krulewitz said in a statement. "His ability to be an effective representative for ESPN has been significantly and irreparably damaged, and it became evident it was time to part ways."...

Marni Phillips filed for divorce Sept. 14, according to court records.

In 1998, Steve Phillips admitted having sex with a Mets employee, who sued for sexual harassment. That case was settled out of court. Phillips was fired by the Mets in 2003...

Handsome ESPN sportscaster, Steve Phillips, is the subject of a national sex scandal, as his 22-year-old, troubled co-worker, Brooke Hundley, with whom he has been conducting an extramarital affair, began stalking his wife and children.

Hundley should get a grip on the situation. The man is better off with his family. However, his wife, Mari Phillips, who is understandably hurt and wounded by this betrayal by her husband and criminal stalking by Hundley, has filed for divorce.

I dislike it when single women prey on married men and vice versa. Some married men behave like complete bimbos, but some do try to be faithful and it is quite reprehensible when certain women deliberately decide to put temptation in their way.

Infidelity and divorce results in broken homes, broken families and broken hearts. So many spouses and children are scarred by their parents divorces and take that hurt with them all through life.

In short, learn to control your impulses and choose faithfulness over infidelity.

Brooke Hundley used Craiglist to harass Steve Phillips' wife

October 23, 8:49 PM - The New York Post said that Brooke Hundley, the 22-year-old production assistant who had an affair with ESPN analyst Steve Phillips, used Craigslist to hire a woman to make phone calls to Marni Phillips.

Hundley posted a Craigslist ad on August 5 offering $50 to someone willing to torture Phillips' wife over the phone. Courtney Arp, a Connecticut waitress, answered the ad and gave an interview to the Post. "She wanted someone to call her 'friend' that night to say her husband was cheating on her," Arp said.

Arp said Hundley e-mailed her a script of what to say to Marni Phillips. Hundley's script called for Arp to tell Marni that Steve had been cheating with a "young woman at our work" and "if you want to catch them tonight, they are planning to meet after the show at 12:30ish in the Target parking lot...."...
