The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has been left
red-faced after Closer magazine published photos of her topless on a boat with
Prince William in inelegant poses. Her modest bosom has been placed on display
by the magazine for all to see, leaving her husband grimacing.
The photos were taken without her permission, which is wrong,
but Middleton made the mistake of taking her top off in public, assuming
photographers were unable to see her out in the open on the yacht. Being a
public figure, one should not trust anyone in such a situation.
As Middleton was in public, she should have known better,
especially with the surreptitious means some have perversely gone to in
capturing nude images of others. This incident will be more difficult to
litigate in court, as it is not the same as Prince Harry's nude photo scandal,
which was illegally captured without his knowledge in his hotel room, a place
privacy is to be expected under the law.

Nonetheless, Middleton did not ask to become a porn star and
that is what Closer has done to her against her wishes, which is definitely a
litigable offense. First Prince Harry, then Prince Philip and now Kate
Middleton. I've said it before and I shall state it again, someone has it in for
the royal family and is doing their level best to humiliate them.
