David Cameron Resigns As British Prime Minister, Theresa May Is Appointed The New PM And Boris Johnson Foreign Minister

British Prime Minister, David Cameron, today handed in his resignation. The fallout from the Brexit vote to leave the European Union, which was the opposite of what he campaigned for, resulted in his resignation. Me personally, I would not have resigned. But to each his own. Theresa May, the former Foreign Minister (Home Secretary), is now the Prime Minister of Britain. She is the second female Prime Minister in British history. Two weeks ago, before this rounded out and May was the only one left standing to be the new Prime Minister, I tweeted on Twitter that she reminds me of Margaret Thatcher (see tweet at end of article).

May has appointed former London mayor, Boris Johnson, the new Foreign Minister. Whether you agree with May's political views, it is best that political parties in Britain work together for the good of the country.  Cameron's primary mistake was the joint press conference with President Barack Obama, who basically threatened the British public stating do what I say in this vote or I will financially punish Britain by pushing the nation "to the back of the queue" in trade deals. It was an odious comment to make and was ill-received.

People behind the leave campaign in Britain credit Obama with getting the vote through to leave the European Union, which is the exact opposite of what the president demanded the British people do. Obama repeatedly abused the "special relationship" between Britain and America, in conduct other modern American presidents simply did not do. An international visit from Obama has proven political poison to several world heads of state, who ended up leaving shortly after or being voted out. Hence the Politico article "Politico: How The World Fell Out Of Love With Obama."

I am not of the belief Britain has cause to panic over Brexit. If you needlessly give off fear and panic, people will pick up on that and act accordingly regarding investments and trade. I know London quite well. I also know some of the home counties in England. Britain is a stable, civil place with a lot going for it. There are many financial opportunities available in Britain, which is a large, prosperous nation with a strong economy. London, the nation's centerpiece, is a beautiful, bustling city that is a center of commerce and entertainment for many all over the world.

Hold your heads up and be determined in your resolve to succeed and grow as a nation. Stop apologizing for being British in trying to fit in more with Europe. And for the record, there's nothing wrong with European, it is great as well. Each nation should be unreservedly proud of their country. There's nothing wrong with being proud of where you come from.

Desperate, publicity seeking, unoriginal pop star, Madonna, whose recent CD "Rebel Heart" has flopped, continues to act out like a child, albeit a 60-year-old child, looking for attention from a world that has moved on from her. Madonna, who still thinks she is a teenager, has been embarrassing herself with a series of publicity stunts that have all backfired.

According to Billboard magazine, in her latest publicity stunt, Madonna posted a quote by Margaret Thatcher and was slammed by Britons for it. "If you set out to be liked you would be prepared to compromise on anything at anytime, and you would achieve nothing. Thank you Margaret Thatcher! #unapologetic." But that's the problem with Madonna. She fails to realize people are no longer interested in her and she has become an internet punchline.

Madonna also posted a heavily Photoshopped picture of herself that is a complete rip off of Welsh singer Charlotte Church's preexisting, copyrighted CD cover for the 2005 album "Tissues And Issues" (I have written about Charlotte Church and her great voice in past articles). That's right, 10-years ago, now here comes Madonna ripping it off and quite poorly might I add (what's the sense of using Photoshop to that extreme degree, then when people see you in public...). As usual, Madonna is breaking the law stealing copyrighted works for her fake, fraudulent career that has been a complete and utter rip off from day one (see a long list of Madonna's thefts that comprise her entire career).

Democrats and Republicans are fighting in Congress, regarding the debt ceiling, while President Obama threatens to cut off Social Security, stating he cannot guarantee that seniors checks will go out next month, on August 3, 2011.

Has he lost his mind. Seniors are going to remember that and attribute it to him. They paid into Social Security for decades, to receive their money during old age and not for a president to summarily decided such a thing.

If President Obama had not wasted so much money on unnecessary spending initiatives and thrown so much cash out the White House window, on overblown stimulus packages, with significant funds stolen and misappropriated, America would not be in this bind.

President Obama should have raised taxes on the rich from day one of his presidency and used the funds to pay down the national debt and create jobs. President Clinton created 23,000,000 jobs by raising taxes during his time in office, which was recorded as the most financially prosperous in U.S. history. Others have done the same in the past, in other nations, such as Margaret Thatcher in Britain, creating new jobs with freshly raised tax money.

Now President Obama has his back to the wall, after massive, fruitless expenditures and is threatening seniors over Social Security they already paid for. What exactly did the government do with their money. As the Judiciary Report sees is, messing with Social Security is like dipping into pension funds, something you just don't do. You really must not want a second term.

The Democrats need to desist with the excessive spending and the Republicans in Congress need to give up on not raising taxes, because the money is needed. America has many billionaires, millionaires and individuals earning over $250,000 per year that can pay higher personal (and business) income taxes. They live in America and should pay it, after reaping all the funds they did off the nation.

U.S. President Barack Obama gave his State of the Union speech yesterday, to much criticism. Many provided fact checking features on their websites, which outed the President in untruths and broken promises.

However, his speech, which centered on American innovation, is being slammed as riddled with plagiarism. It is being said Obama stole chunks of preexisting speeches and letters by other politicians, such as Franklin Roosevelt, Robert Kennedy, Woodrow Wilson, Margaret Thatcher and Mario Cuomo.

Posted: January 26, 2011 - If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, what can be said of plagiarism? President Obama’s second State of the Union address contained enough recycled ideas and lines lifted from speeches of others to make historians wince. I suppose this is what one does when one not only has nothing new to say, but is required by custom and Constitution to come forth with a report of some kind by a certain time and day.

Had Obama or his writers been considerate enough to have informed listeners of where some of the president’s best lines and offered-up ideas originated, the speech might be remembered for its cutting and pasting of great and not-so-great moments of the past performance of others. For years, the Judiciary Report, has expounded the benefits of cost cutting, stating it would be the best course of action, for the U.S. and British governments to undertake. This summer, with the installation of Prime Minister, David Cameron, at 10 Downing Street in London, Britain has embarked on sensible cost cutting measures.

On October 20, 2010, the Wall Street Journal, published an article entitled "U.K. Cuts Invite Comparisons With Thatcher." The article drew comparisons between Cameron's cost cutting measures and that of his Conservative predecessor, former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.

The article reminded readers of the financial distress Britain was in at the time Thatcher entered office in the 1980s, the austere budget cuts she made and the financial boom it lead to years later, while she was still Prime Minister.

Oh, that President Obama would have listened when the site begged him to do the same, upon entering office (the White House, FBI, DOJ, CIA, DOD, Homeland Security and a number of other components of the government, have been reading this site for years and continue to do so, as attested by site statistics).

Rather than cutting costs in the U.S. Government, Obama spent the American economy into oblivion, adding $5 trillion to the national deficit, in under two years. The U.S. Fed continues to sit on standby, waiting to inject $100 billion dollars per month into the U.S. economy, after already spending massive sums of money to no avail.

It has been two years of unprecedented spending by the Obama Administration and the economy is in worse shape than it was before. All that precious time has been lost, which could have been spent saving. The Judiciary Report was in favor of helping AIG, GM, Ford And Chrysler, as attested by past articles. The aforementioned companies have been getting back on track and have made repayments to the government in the billions, which will earn the U.S. taxpayer a profit, if collected correctly.

However, the site denounced many massive spending initiatives Obama undertook, such as his healthcare plan, throwing billions at hundreds of banks, chucking cash at many companies and organizations all over the nation and unwisely trusting they would use the money to stimulate the economy. Instead, they've hoarded some funds, while misusing others.

When will Washington wake up and realize they cannot buy their way out of the massive problems facing the nation, due to the corporate sector's greed and the government's negligence in allowing it. Do remember, one plus one still makes two.

OCTOBER 20, 2010 - LONDON— ...Like Mr. Cameron, a fellow Conservative, Lady Thatcher began her first term by announcing sweeping cuts to public spending against the backdrop of a deep economic downturn that had increased joblessness and inflated the government deficit.

And like Mr. Cameron, who told his party earlier this month that there was "no other responsible way" than to reduce public spending, Lady Thatcher frequently said there was "no alternative" to the painful economic change she put in place.

The Thatcher plan sparked social unrest and, initially, higher unemployment. Her pivotal 1981 budget, which combined cuts in spending and income taxes with indirect tax increases, drew an outcry from the opposition Labour Party and trade unions, as well as some Conservatives. In an open letter in The Times of London, 364 economists said the government's economic program would "deepen the depression."

Policy makers now generally say her decision to curb spending in an economic slump didn't dig the U.K. into a deeper hole. Instead, they say, by spurring private-sector gains, the 1981 budget likely contributed to an economic rebound. The market-driven template she established remains mostly in force in the U.K. today.

"This was a remarkably successful program," said Andrew Lilico, chief economist at the independent London think tank Policy Exchange, who wrote a study of the 1981 budget. "In the short term, very considerable fiscal tightening was achieved. Over the longer term...the 1980s were characterized by a consistently falling share of public spending, allowing for rapid economic growth."

Mrs. Obama Still Being Slammed Over Spain Trip

Americans are still angry with U.S. First Lady, Michelle Obama, over a lavish trip she took to Spain's Costa Del Sol, which cost the nation's taxpayers a million dollars, for her 60 strong entourage. She returned home to scathing press articles and angry blog comments, denouncing the price tag of the expensive vacation.

Racist radio talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, who flies everywhere by private jet, inappropriately stated she is only able to do such things, due to white guilt from slavery. He really is out of line and completely wrong, as this is not a color thing, but an expenditure issue. Furthermore, Mrs. Obama was a six-figure earning attorney, before moving to the White House with the President, who is also a lawyer. They weren't on welfare, Mr. Limbaugh.

Mrs. Obama is not the first, First Lady to overspend, as Nancy Reagan also incurred public criticism for constantly purchasing expensive designer dresses.

However, this is not the extremely wealthy America of the 1980s. This is debt ridden America of 2010, with a $13 trillion deficit. Therefore, such an expenditure hit home this time, as America is facing the worst financial crisis in the nation's history, brought on by former President, George W. Bush and his corporate cronies.

The Judiciary Report has been stating for months the Obamas need to knock it off with the vacations, as it does not look good at this time. Mrs. Obama's trip was ill-conceived, ill-advised and ill-timed (nothing against Spain, as it is a lovely country).

The fact still remains, the Obamas need to refrain from such spending and keep in mind, the sensitive financial climate in the nation, which is upsetting many Americans, who rightfully view this crisis as something not of their own making. Once again, Bush is to blame. However, Obama's spending is making it worse. This is not a time for vacations, but hard work and thrift.

Side Bar: Maybe someone needs to install a moderately priced spa in the White House to help them de-stress. It would save the taxpayers a lot of money in vacation time.
