Chris Brown Girlfriend Karrueche Tran Slams VH-1 For Labeling Her A Side Chick

Several months ago, model and aspiring fashion designer, Karrueche Tran,  declined VH-1's offer to become a cast member of their scandalous reality show "Love And Hip Hop Los Angeles." Tran, who is in a relationship with singer Rihanna's ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, was labeled a "side chick" with the implication she was cheating with the male singer.

An upset Tran stated in response to the show, "When no one understands you.. they misinterpret you.. judge you.. label you.. this is embarrassing to see, but I can do nothing but laugh because at the end of the day you can say whatever you want about me.. Label me however you please.. Your words do not define who I am. I'm happy with myself.. Flaws..wrong choices..mistakes and all and that's all that matters. I usually don't speak up on shit like this but whatever. I have family that has to see shit like this. I don't even think we're all on the same page as to what a "side chick" really is. Either way..."

Brown's mother, Joyce Hawkins, wants him to reunite with Rihanna. Hawkins is concerned regarding how much money Brown has spent on Tran, having bought her a Porsche, jewelry, designer clothes and purses and given her cash. Hawkins prefers Rihanna, who has made money. However, Rihanna is no angel having made money from stealing copyrights. Not to mention, Rihanna was seen hitting Brown on two occasions before their big fight at the pre-Grammy dinner and their lives have not been the same since. Rihanna's cocaine, weed, ecstasy and alcohol addictions, not to mention her jaunt into the occult, are destroying her mind and body. Brown went to rehab for months, somewhere Rihanna has refused to take seriously.

This week a list leaked of potential cast members for the spin off show "Love And Hip Hop LA" which the Judiciary Report hoped would be more dignified than "Love And Hip Hop Atlanta." Among the names listed was model Karrueche Tran, who is singer Chris Brown's girlfriend. However, Tran took to Twitter to state she is, "Definitely not going to be on Love & Hip Hop LA lol." Yea, I think that means no.

Some people, myself included, are wary of reality shows. As stated previously there are only a few good ones out there, such as "Duck Dynasty" "Bulloch Family Ranch" and "Braxton Family Values." Most people who join the average reality show are told turn up the raunch, ratchet and crazy or get kicked off the show (see: "Jersey Shore" "Love And Hip Hop Atlanta" and "Basketball Wives LA"). They will have you looking like "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" in no time. Ratings take precedence over taste.

A reality show where one can retain creative control, enabling one to oversee each aspect of the production, guaranteeing a dignified and tasteful finished product is the better option (but not commonly offered). You can create something really special with depth like "Duck Dynasty" under those circumstances.

Otherwise, never take on any role that will embarrass your family, significant other and or potential children in the future. No amount of money and fame is worth breaking your parents' hearts and bringing embarrassment to your family as a whole. Keep your name and image in tact, because contrary to what some believe, it isn't just a role or character. Acting on television and in films, as well as reality shows, is a representation of you as a person. Don't set a bad example as you will regret it.

It is being claimed model Karrueche Tran, the girlfriend of singer Chris Brown is in the running for the new reality show "Love And Hip Hop LA." There is no word whether she has accepted. In a November 13, 2012 article on the Judiciary Report "Rihanna Jealous That Karrueche Tran Is Getting Offers Due To Chris Brown" the site stated Tran "is being considered for reality shows." This is just the latest one and the biggest by far.

The contentious "Love And Hip Hop Atlanta" has made stars out of unknowns. Tran, who already has fans, would become even more famous from the spin-off "Love And Hip Hop LA." It could also lead to appearances by Chris Brown, as they have become a well-known hip hop couple.

Rihanna

Brown's on and off again-girlfriend Rihanna will not be happy with this news, as she and some of her family, friends and fans have repeatedly insulted and racially slurred half black, half Vietnamese Tran online, belittling her in front of the whole internet. Each time Tran has taken the high road, refusing to be baited, simply over dating a man, Brown, who chose her.
