Courageous survivor, Jaycee Dugard, has penned an autobiography entitled "A Stolen Life" chronicling her kidnapping, rape and impregnation as a young girl, by convicted sex offender, Phillip Garrido and his wife, Nancy Garrido. In released excerpts of the book, Dugard described her abduction at the age of 11, stating she was kidnapped at a bus stop near her home and when she tried to run, Garrido used a stun gun to incapacitate her.

Garrido criminally kept Dugard as a slave in his ramshackle backyard, repeatedly forcing himself on her and employing brainwashing techniques used by cults to control people, in attempts at making her docile. He also viciously threatened her with dogs, if she ever tried to leave the backyard. His is the profile of a satanic monster.

Dugard stated the day after Garrido abducted her, he showered with her, as she cried uncontrollably. This was also the year he began raping her, during crystal meth induced psychotic episodes. As a result of the rapes, Dugard fell pregnant at age 13. The terrified young girl gave birth in squalor, in the backyard, without the benefit of painkillers.

Dugard's children were forced to call Garrido's equally insane wife Nancy, "mommy" so she "would not feel left out" of his insane, perverse scheme. Garrido began raping Dugard again, shortly after the birth of her first daughter, which led to another pregnancy.

On June 2, 2011, Garrido was sentenced to 431 years in prison, as a means of ensuring he will not see freedom again nor have the opportunity to inflict the aforementioned horrors on anyone else. His wife Nancy Dugard was given 36-years to life in prison.

The State of California awarded Dugard a $20,000,000 legal settlement, for its failures in detecting that parolee Garrido, had abducted her, but it will never compensate for the terrible things she endured. I pray she will find the happiness that eluded her when she was abducted for 18-years, due to the heinous acts perpetrated against her by a criminal that never should have been free.

Rape victim, Jaycee Lee Dugard, 30, has received a $20,000,000 settlement from the State of California, due to their criminal negligence that allowed a pedophile and his wife, to kidnap, abuse, repeatedly rape and impregnate her, over the course of 18 years.

As a minor, Dugard bore Phillip Garrido two children, who are ages 15 and 12. They were forced to live in his backyard like pets. The parole system failed in allowing a criminal that was not rehabilitated to roam free, without proper supervision.

No amount of money will ever compensate for what Dugard went through. She was robbed of many years of her life, youth, dignity and privacy.

I think she should start doing paid print and television interview, where she can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars, gaining something positive out of her terrible ordeal, while helping other victims. The interviewers should be kind and respectful.

The beautiful Jaycee Lee Dugard, 29, did her first interview, since being freed from the clutches of the pedophile psychotic, Philip Garrido, who kidnapped her at age 11.

She is living in seclusion with her family and two children, as they have not acclimated to normal life yet, which is understandable after all the terrible things they've been through.

"I'm so happy to be back with my family," she tells PEOPLE.

Now living in seclusion with her mom, Terry Probyn, 50, and the two daughters – Angel, 15, and Starlit, 11 – fathered by her alleged kidnapper, Phillip Garrido, Dugard, 29, has begun the slow process of recovery. She rides horses, cooks meals and is thinking of collaborating on a book.

"They live a surprisingly normal life, considering the circumstances," says Terry's stepmother, Joan Curry.

When kidnap victim Jaycee Lee Dugard’s story hit the press last month, it shone a light on child abductions and the terrible ordeal innocent victims of crime go through at the hands of their captors.

Another case that was quite sad is the story of 21-year-old Austrian, Natascha Kampusch, who was abducted as a young girl by a sadistic, cruel man.

Her abductor, Wolfgang Priklopil, nabbed her off the streets of Austria when she was 10-years-old and forced her to live in a tiny, soundproofed cellar under his garage that could barely hold a bed. He viciously beat her on a regular basis, until she was black and blue and by all accounts, sexually assaulted her as well.

At age 18, while cleaning his BMW in the driveway, she made a run for it and escaped, when Priklopil was distracted by a cell phone call. She ran into a house on a neighboring street, where she found an elderly man, who called the police. Fearing arrest for kidnapping Natascha 8-years prior, Priklopil killed himself by standing in the path of a train.

When she learned of his death, Natascha cried out of pity for him, exhibiting clear signs of Stockholm Syndrome, much like Jaycee Lee Dugard, who felt sorry for her kidnapper when he was apprehended.

After years of mind control and mental abuse, with the intent to make victims malleable, people who have been kidnapped, often struggle with conflicting feelings.

After she was returned to her family, the network Puls 4 in Austria gave her a talk show titled “Natascha Kampusch Trifft.” It was good of them to give her such a great job, welcoming her back to living out in the open. She is a brave woman to embrace public life again and I salute her courage.

Hopefully in time, Jaycee Lee Dugard and her children will acclimate to public life as well and enjoy all the great things in life they have been missing, due to the unconscionable crimes that were committed against them. God bless them all. Their stories are testament that recovery is possible.

It has been revealed, pedophile and kidnapper, Philip Garrido, who abducted and impregnated 11-year-old, Jaycee Lee Dugard, wrote love songs about her that contained very sick lyrics.

Garrido and his wife, Nancy, who has also been remanded into custody, kidnapped Jaycee at a bus stop and sped away with her.

His lyrics contain items about taking his blue eyed baby for a ride in his car and to get her a candy bar. He also sings about a "little child" being "sexy." In retrospect, people believe his lyrics are autobiographical, not to mention, loathsome.

Garrido was also vocally imitating Elvis on his recordings and very poorly, might I add, retelling his pedophilic crimes on record.

What is it with pedophiles and this need to chronicle their depraved conduct into some form of entertainment medium. It is quite sick.

Jaycee's Parade

You've heard of the Macys parade, well now there is the Jaycee's parade. Residents in Lake Tahoe threw a parade for recently found, former missing person, Jaycee Lee Dugard, who was kidnapped at age 11, by convicted felon, Philip Garrido.

Over 2,000 people turned out to in support of the now 29-year-old Dugard, who has been reunited with her mother after 18 years.

Every time I read the Jaycee Lee Dugard story, it breaks my heart. What that poor young woman must have gone through, being kidnapped by psychopaths at age 11 and finally finding freedom at age 29.

When one looks at pictures of the backyard, behind a filth backyard that depraved felon, Phillip Garrido and his wife, Nancy, kept her in, molesting, raping and impregnating her, it makes one upset, as in essence, it is like she was in prison. He took her youth from her. No child deserves that. It is one of the sickest stories I've ever heard.

Then to think, Garrido impregnated her at age 14, then again at age 17, the babies delivered in filth, by two drug abusing psychopaths that raised them in squalor, to believe their underage mother is their sister, makes one upset all over again.

There really are evil people in this world. Sadly, Jaycee's story is not new, as similar cases have happened in Europe as well.

However, the judicial system has a responsibility to innocent members of society, to lock up such individuals, as such sociopaths belong in mental institutions and prisons, to protect law abiding men, women and children. Freedom is a privilege for the good and law abiding, not the lawbreaker.

Too often, juries sentence men and women to decades in prison, but they are released in a few short years, thanks to the parole system, to wreak havoc all over again, which is ridiculous.

Prior to the abduction of Jaycee, Philip Garrido kidnapped and raped a woman, received a 50-year sentence, then was out on the streets in 8-years, thanks to the parole board.

Some articles mentioned he found religion after the terrible things he did to Jaycee, but he clearly was not repentant, as he did not return Jaycee to her family and turn himself in to authorities.

What he found was not religion, but new age cult psychobabble, such as "mind control." No legitimate religion utilizes such oppressive, intrusive tools. He used "brainwashing" to control Dugard and her daughters, who I hope he did not molest and rape as well.

They have recently been told the man that is their biological dad, kidnapped and raped their mother when she was a girl of 11.

This must have caused additional psychological problems, but they needed to know the truth. I hope they will recover and not struggle with conflicting feelings within themselves, knowing they are related to a man that did such things.

The situation is so sad and those girls are going to need prayers, as will Jaycee, so pray for them. The press should also leave them alone and allow them to heal in peace.

Starlite and Angel, the two daughters Jaycee Lee Dugard had with her accused kidnapper, Philip Garrido, were "starved of information," have never watched TV, have never heard of the U.S. President, and are undergoing "de-brainwashing" therapy, according to investigators Wednesday.

Dugard, 29, Starlite, 15, and Angel, 11, were all undergoing therapy in the Bay Area, where they are residing at a safe house with Jaycee's mother, Terry Probyn, and their aunt, Tina Dugard.

"They are both intelligent kids but they are very naive about the real world," a Contra Costa Sheriff's Department officer told the UK Sun. The girls "have no concept of math, geography and history or anything outside their town of Antioch."

The girls, according to officials, are being fed just as they were before, one of many efforts experts are taking so as not to make an already-traumatic transition that much harder.

"They are being given TV microwave dinners and their favorite meat loaf meals," police said. "They have never had fizzy drinks, so they get cooled water, which is what they are used to."...

Up until a few days ago, Jaycee’s daughters "thought Jaycee was their sister. They didn’t realize she had been kidnapped," Probyn told the Early Show’s Maggie Rodriguez on Monday...

Nancy Garrido, 54 and her husband, Phillip Garrdio, 58, a man previously convicted of kidnapping and sexual assault, clearly was not a changed man, after being incarcerated and released on probation, serving a paltry sentence. He went right back to his old, devious ways.

Garrido, with the help of his wife, kidnapped 11-year-old Jaycee Lee Dugard in 1991. This week, while on probation, his sick misconduct was uncovered.

Not only had Garrido held the young girl captive in his backyard shed for years, he sexually assaulted her, fathering two children with her. That poor girl. The psychological horror she must have endured. Some people can be so evil.

Garrdio and his wife have now been indicted on 29 counts in relation to this heinous series of crimes against Dugard, who is now 29-years-old. They deserve life in prison without the possibility of parole.
