Heiress Eva Rausing Died Hiding A Deadly Secret Of Someone’s Connection To Crime

American heiress Eva Rausing took a secret with her to an untimely grave, after police discovered her dead, decomposing body under a pile of clothes and garbage bags at her mansion in London, England. Her husband, multi-billionaire Swedish Tetra Pak heir, Hans Rausing, was arrested and given a suspended sentence, regarding the improper burial. He has also been disinherited by his family. The couple were drug addicts, who met in rehab and married shortly after.

The Metropolitan Police in London, England have uncovered emails on Eva Rausing’s computer, which make mention of the 1986 assassination of former Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme, who was gunned down one night on his way home in Stockholm, Sweden.

Rausing sent an explosive email to journalist Gunnar Wall in June of 2011, stating she knows who killed Palme and is scared he might come after her. She described the killer as a businessman and stated she knows where the murder weapon is hidden. The Met Police sent the emails authored by Rausing to Swedish authorities.

I’m going to state what many of you are thinking - did Rausing die of a drug overdose or was she killed because she knew the identity of Palme’s killer. Another secret Rausing has taken to the grave with her, in what was a tragic end to a woman that could have done so much more in life, had she been able to successfully beat her addictions.

Swedish Tetrapak heir, Hans Rausing, has been spared prison time, in the death of his wife, American socialite, Eva Rausing. The couple met in a California rehab facility, married, then moved to London two decades ago, giving birth to and raising four children.

Eva Rausing's body was discovered by police, after they arrested her husband for driving erratically in South London. Drugs were found in his car and a search of his home, revealed a terrible stench, indicating a decomposing body was present. Mrs. Rausings remains were found on the second floor of their $80,000,000 Cadogan Place mansion.

Mr. Rausing told the court he found his wife dead, presumably from a drug overdose and simply did not want her to leave. Therefore, he did not report her death to the authorities and covered her body in garbage bags and clothes.

There was good reason police in London charged billionaire Tetra Pak heir, Hans Rausing, with his wife's murder. They didn't just simply find Eva Rausing's expired body laying on a bed in the couple's $80,000,000 Cadogan Place home. Her body was found stuffed in garbage bags that were taped shut. By any reasonable standard that looks very incriminating.

Add to this discovery claims Rausing had been dead for days, people now understand to a greater degree, why he was charged with concealing the body. Rausing may have died from an overdose and in a drug stupor, her husband irrationally put her body in garbage bags. However, if there exists injury to her body indicating murder, his legal team will be facing a serious challenge, as that will be very difficult to explain to a judge and jury.

When people are given every opportunity in life to succeed and they reach such a terrible juncture, it makes one lament the awful turns individuals sometimes take, especially when drugs enter the picture. Rausing leaves behind four children that not only have to deal with her passing, but how her deceased body was discovered.

This month, the body of 48-year-old socialite, Eva Rausing, was discovered in her bedroom, with drugs very nearby. This year, the body of 47-year-old superstar singer Whitney Houston was discovered in her hotel room, with drug residue very nearby.

Both women were wealthy, in their late 40s, mothers, very thin…and drug addicts that struggled with an addiction to the powerful narcotic crack cocaine (which Houston called "rock cocaine"). Both women were in marriages to men, who are also drug addicts. Houston was married to famous R&B singer, Bobby Brown, for 14-years. Rausing was married to Swedish Tetra Pak heir, Hans Kristian Rausing, for 20-years.

Both husbands spent years in their mansions, doing drugs with their wives, turning luxury properties into drug dens. Both husbands were also arrested for driving erratically - Brown in South Florida and Rausing in London, England.

Ultimately, both women had so much to live for, yet died for so little. Money can’t buy happiness, peace or fulfillment. That’s something you have to find through spiritual means. Looking at drugs as a life or death struggle is also useful in remaining sober.

Photos of Eva Rausing, nee Kemeny, 49, in her last days show the terrible effect drugs had on her, as her face was gaunt, drawn and twisted, eyes hollow with confusion and sadness. You could see she was staring death in the face in a fight she lost far too soon, dying at age 48.

By all accounts, Rausing had much to live for, via four kids and a husband, Swedish heir, Hans Kristian Rausing. She lived in a 6-story home in London's Cadogan Place, valued at $80,000,000. Much of her money was due to her husband being heir to the $5.4 billion Tetra Pak fortune (drink cartons) but Rausing also came from a wealthy family in America. She is the daughter of a Pepsi executive, who bought an island off the coast of the U.S. State of South Carolina. 

Perhaps having too much led to her downfall. Rausing was arrested in 2008 for smuggling crack cocaine and heroin into a party being held at the U.S. Embassy in London. A subsequent search of their mansion turned up more heroin, crack cocaine and $3,000 of pure cocaine.

Rausing admitted to doing drugs from a very early age, in a habit she never gave up. She even met her husband in rehab twenty years ago, but fell off the wagon a number of times since. Her story is a sad tale in how drugs can destroy lives. May her family and friends find solace in the happy memories she left behind, in what was a turbulent life.

Eva Rausing was found dead in her exclusive Cadogan Place home in London, England valued at $80,000,000. It has been dubbed the city's most expensive crack den, as her husband, Hans Kristian Rausing, a native of Sweden, also shared her addiction. The couple is heir to a $8 billion dollar fortune and moved to London 20-years ago.

Rausing was arrested for driving erratically, which led to police finding drugs in his car. When police searched his home, they discovered Eva's body, which had been decomposing for a week. He has been charged with concealing a dead body and some suspect foul play.

However, in his drug induced state, his expensive solicitor will probably argue he was high and aloof in his private quarters and did not realize what had happened to his wife. Drug addicts have been known to lock themselves away in a room for days at a time getting high. It is a destructive habit that consumes people. 

The American heiress has struggled with drug abuse for decades. In her final years, she raised opposition online, to people seeking to legalize narcotics.
