Obama Freeing Terrorists From Gitmo Has Proven A Bad Idea As Many Have Gone On To Commit Mass Murder In Acts Of Terrorism

U.S. President Barack Obama

For years the Judiciary Report pushed a proposed plan to close the notorious Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba, owned by the U.S. government. Gitmo should be returned to the Cuban people and used for something better, as it is their land. Many serious human rights violations, such as grotesque acts of torture, were being committed at Gitmo by the administrations of George W. Bush and Barack Obama that go against all human decency, in what was a slap in the face of humanity. It was barbarism in acts no better than those terrorists have been committing against innocent people.

In 2009 the Judiciary Report wrote that terrorists housed in Gitmo should not be freed, but transferred to a suitable, austere, maximum security prison in America, customized for such incarceration (Alcatraz would have been a very viable option). President Barack Obama disagreed and freed a number of dangerous terrorists, in what has since proven deadly for innocent civilians, who were the victims of acts of Jihad. Many reports from mainstream and independent news outlets state the terrorists Obama freed went right back to terrorism and have since killed many innocent people.

This is a tragedy that should not have occurred. However, the government knew before closing Gitmo that many detainees were returning to terrorism, but freed them anyway (In 7 Released From Gitmo Go Back To Terrorism). The number has risen even higher since the closure of Gitmo, with mainstream reports indicating 1 in 3 released have returned to terrorism.

It is incidents such as these that makes the American people question Obama’s dedication to fighting terrorism (Obama Administration Being Slammed By Americans For Refusing To Label San Bernardino Killings Terrorism). That and actually arming Al Qaeda and ISIS terrorists in a very unwise maneuver (Obama Administration Loses $500 Million Dollars In Taxpayer Money As Rebels They Trained Give U.S. Weapons And Equipment To Al Qaeda In Syria).

I do not comprehend the sense of letting dangerous criminals go. I also do not see the wisdom in Obama’s FBI allowing people in America to communicate with terrorists and become radicalized (FBI Knew About One Of The San Bernardino Terrorists In Advance But Allowed Her To Roam Free In America). There are several well documented incidents where the FBI sat back and watched as people in America communicated with terrorists, became radicalized and then went on to commit acts of terrorism that killed dozens of innocent people.

Under U.S. law, knowingly supporting a terrorist(s) is illegal (The FBI Is Locking Up People Over Retweets On Twitter). Yet the FBI keeps allowing this to happen, rather than picking up offenders in a timely fashion and many innocent people have paid a terrible price for it with their lives when deadly terrorists acts transpired.

Ex-Guantanamo detainee now an al Qaeda leader in Yemen

15-12-08 - Ibrahim al Qosi, an ex-Guantanamo detainee, now serves as a leader and spokesman for al Qaeda in Yemen. Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) released a new video featuring a former Guantanamo detainee, Ibrahim Qosi, who is also known as Sheikh Khubayb al Sudani.

In July 2010, Qosi plead guilty to charges of conspiracy and material support for terrorism before a military commission. His plea was part of a deal in which he agreed to cooperate with prosecutors during his remaining time in US custody. Qosi was transferred to his home country of Sudan two years later, in July 2012. Qosi joined AQAP in 2014 and became one of its leaders. Qosi and other AQAP commanders discussed their time waging jihad at length in the video, entitled “Guardians of Sharia.”...

Qosi’s appearance marks the first time he has starred in jihadist propaganda since he left Guantanamo. His personal relationship with Osama bin Laden and time in American detention make him an especially high-profile spokesman. A leaked Joint Task Force Guantanamo (JTF-GTMO) threat assessment and other declassified files documented Qosi’s extensive al Qaeda dossier. In the threat assessment, dated Nov. 15, 2007, US intelligence analysts described Qosi as a “high” risk to the US and its allies. “Detainee is an admitted veteran jihadist with combat experience beginning in 1990 and it is assessed he would engage in hostilities against US forces, if released,” JTF-GTMO found...

Obama Facing Controversy Over Swapping Five Terrorists For Soldier Labeled A Deserter (Video)

U.S. President Barack Obama is facing a firestorm of controversy over a prisoner swap that was ill-advised and the incorrect course of action. The Obama Administration released five dangerous terrorists in exchange for U.S. solider, Bowe Robert Bergdahl, who has been labeled a deserter by fellow soldiers. Bergdahl went missing from June 30, 2009 to May 31, 2014. During that time he was exposed to terrorist teachings while captive. Bergdahl has been brainwashed by the Taliban and forced to adapt their customs, which makes him a danger in America. The government cannot let him run loose in the nation. What happens when he snaps. He could take out a lot of innocent people. He should be tried as a deserter and watched for the rest of his life.

Barack Obama

The five terrorists that have been released are living in luxury in Qatar and are rejoining terrorists groups such as the Taliban and Al Qaeda. For years the Judiciary Report has adamantly been against the government freeing terrorist prisoners from Guantanamo Bay. The Judiciary Report still retains this view. Many published reports indicate an overwhelming majority of terrorists freed from Guantanamo Bay go back to terrorism. None of them should be free. They are walking time bombs in more ways than one.

Bowe Robert Bergdahl

The Judiciary Report is in favor of Guantanamo Bay being closed and the criminals in the prison being relocated to a maximum security Supermax prison in America, solely devoted to housing terrorists under austere conditions. Terrorism is so deeply contained in terrorists ho wage violent jihad against the west, containment must be a priority. Once again, no terrorists should be freed.

Newsweek Cover Tells The President 'Hit The Road Barack'

 Newsweek Goes For The Jugular

Newsweek

In all the big words I have learned over the years, after seeing the current Newsweek cover featuring the President of the United States with the words "Hit The Road Barack: Why We Need A New President" - the only word I think of was, "dang!" You could almost hear Michael Jackson's "Beat It" playing in the proverbial background.

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden

Oh and the article was even more painful regarding President Obama. Newsweek laid out all of Obama's failures in office with charts and graphs (and to think they whine and complain about the Judiciary Report). Newsweek did what I call "tear you a new butthole" journalism.

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney and running mate, congressman, Paul Ryan

The Newsweek article endorsed Mitt Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan for the White House this November, stating their economic road map is America's, "Only hope." No word if Obama has read the article yet or has any plans to rendition the journalist, who wrote it (Niall Ferguson). Dude, if they send you to Gitmo, I've got your back...way back, because really, who wants to go there - just teasing.

Inside Illinois Prison To House Gitmo Detainees

"Video: Obama's Gitmo Solution"

U.S. President Barack Obama has selected the Thomson Correctional Center as the designated prison for Gitmo detainees. The Judiciary Report is not sold on the idea of it, preferring Alcatraz, as it is remote, spacious and holds the appropriate image that illustrates one means business.

It is a bit concerning that Thomson is not in a remote location, but the facility has other useful features, such as modern surveillance equipment and a courthouse. Congress must submit the final vote on the measure.

Obama administration to buy Illinois prison for Guantanamo detainees

Congress must vote on plan. Critics are calling facility 'Gitmo North' Map locates Thomson Correctional Center near Thomson, Illinois where the federal government plans to send terrorism suspects from Gantanamo Bay.

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

...A state prison in rural Thomson will be purchased and refitted to house dozens of terrorism suspects now held at Guantanamo, the administration announced. But Obama immediately drew criticism that revealed just how toxic the issue remains.

CIA Hurting Its Credibility With Hypocrisy

"Ex-CIA Officer: Torture Investigation a Must"

A former CIA employee, Robert Baer, stated the intelligence agency needs to clean up its act and gain credibility, as in its current state, it will not have any true effectiveness in the world, committing human rights abuses, it is telling other nations to desist.

This premise holds true of any government. In order to be effective, one must lead by example, or one will be disregarded and disbelieved.

President Obama closing Gitmo and CIA prisons was a good step in the right direction, regarding these matters. Releasing CIA torture documents and investigating abuses is also another plus.

The CIA now needs to do its part to discontinue abuses, act with integrity, in accordance with domestic and international law, to complete the revamp.

Because as it stands, the CIA is a byword in the world and the agency is looked upon with great suspicion in America as well.

Let's face it, the CIA is not liked in the world. Other governments hear the letters "CIA" and they close off, thinking the worst, assuming something or someone is about to be toppled.

This cannot be necessary in maintaining an empire that was severely damaged by former President George W. Bush and seeks to rise from the economic and diplomatic ashes.
